Completely empty when my husband and I went in. I was concerned that no one was there, but we decided to give it a go and I’m so glad we did. I had a wet veggie burrito and my husband had a wet super burrito with carnitas. Wet burritos weren’t on the menu, but the (owner?) was very accommodating. She was the only one working and her kid was sitting at a table playing. It felt like one of our moms was cooking for us! It was such a cool vibe. She cooked quickly and it was truly delicious. The salsa on the wet burritos was spicy and delicious. Big burritos! We will definitely be back soon!

Unusual, but good. Table service with classic rock music. Food served on large ceramic plates with stainless flatware, paper napkins, compostable straws, plastic glasses. Menu book with four pages with specials, Mexican favorites, sandwiches and fries, and American burgers and breakfast items.
Excellent fresh thick hot corn tortilla chips with hot green sauce, now those were the best I have had in Eureka. We ordered chili relleno plate, and a super shrimp mango habanero burrito. The burrito was huge and had grilled onions and bell pepper which was grilled after stuffing. She ate half and took half home. The relleno was destemmed and contained very good queso fresco and covered in very good red sauce. The rice and beans were good tasting and the horchata was very good.
However, the service was slow, beans runny, and the rice lacked salt. Our server was nice and friendly.
The location is next to another Mexican restaurant in a fairly busy area. The space is small and plain, except for framed beach paintings. Only the front half has tables. There is no alcohol on the menu. There were four other tables with couples on May 5, I guess that is busy for a place that prepares everything to order. The breakfast menu looks good and I think I might try that sometime. Our total was thirty five after tax, a good value.
On our second visit, no chips and sauce were provided with our costeno burrito and two fish tacos. The horchata had rice grit coarser than coffee grounds. We were not charged for the horchata and they gave us chips and sauce to go. The total was twenty seven.

Delicious food and friendly atmosphere! The first time I went, I got the habanero mango shrimp burrito and I was totally blown away. I took my partner there for breakfast and we loved the pancakes and french toast, though we hope they’ll add some more traditional Mexican breakfast items to the menu. Glad to have them in the neighborhood!

New place in Henderson Center that offers breakfast, and lunch. Lots of seating and tables to choose from, or take it to go. Friendly service and good good. I had the breakfast burrito with bacon. Was good and came with some green salsa on the side. Give them a try!

Used frozen tortahs and microwaved our tortahs instead of at least baking them to reheat them and were solid rock as a result and gave them to us knowing they were not edible and we were getting them to go so didn’t know till got home out of town. You wouldn’t believe me how hard they were. Like rocks for real. They knew when cut through those things hard as a rock that we couldn’t eat them and they can’t sell them like that, and they didn’t care. Such shady people to do that to us. We were being nice and trying them out cause noone was there and they betrayed us and stole our money.

We popped in here for brunch on our way down the coast. It is a hole-in-the-wall type of place but don’t let that deter you from coming here for food. It was delicious!! My kids loved their French toast and pancakes. I got the chilaquiles burrito and I’m still thinking about it almost a week later. Spicy, saucy, crunchy – incredible!! It was so filling, I wasn’t able to eat it all by myself, I ended up having to give half to my husband. No complaints from him, he wolfed it down. He ordered the montecristo and that was very tasty as well.
I know some people might find Mexican food and American breakfast food to be an odd pairing, but it worked perfectly for us. I wish there was a restaurant like this near our home! I’d eat there weekly. Cannot recommend this place enough, and the next time I’m in Eureka I’ll be sure to stop here!

This place is great! It was pretty empty when we went, but it seems to do a lot of Doordash orders. The owner was the only one there, but he was very friendly and made all our food fresh himself pretty quickly. He even fried the tortilla chips for our complimentary chips and salsa!
