I wait every week for red sauce Wednesday! The aranchini is outstanding and I crave it on a regular basis. Some other menu favorites are the vegetarian risotto, the squid ink bucatini, the Caesar salad is amazing and the house made focaccia. The chefs put a lot of care into their food and it really shows. The servers are awesome and attentive. The new restaurant space is vibey and gorgeous. Very grateful to have Estes in the neighborhood! 🙂

A gem of an Italian restaurant we recently discovered! Well done pastas from our favorite classics like cacio e pepe to new specialties like their kale balnzoni with a delicious brodo. A must try!

Excited to have been able to try Estes after hearing all the hype for a while. While the meal was tasty, unfortunately it wasn’t something that was memorable or I would come back for.
The service overall was great, we were greeted upon entry and had a reservation which meant we quickly were seated to our table. The waitress was kind and helpful throughout the meal.
Ambiance wise the space is quite nice and well set up for dining. It was a bit bright and I think they could have benefitted from turning off a few higher lights, especially in the vending service.
All that said the food just didn’t quite hit the mark for us. The focaccia, which we got as our starter was honestly just not very good. I’m not sure if it was gluten free or some different version but it was generally dense and lacked flavor. If not for the whipped butter we might not have finished it.
For mains we shared the pesto and the lasagna. The pesto was nice and the pasta tasted fresh. Overall simple but tasty. The lasagna however came up a bit short for me. It was a bit watery inside and really didn’t feature the classic layering that you might expect. The flavors were okay but the layer of cheese baked on the top just sort of dominated the dish. Wouldn’t rank it super high on my list and felt not as traditional.
Overall a decent meal but just was expecting a little more given the reviews thus far.

Cute little Italian spot now on Mississippi! The tiramisu is hands down one of the best I’ve had and the panna cotta was delicious especially with the pistachio. I don’t think I need to order the donuts again but props for how soft they were inside.
The food was very tasty too, however the portions felt slightly on the smaller side. It worked out because it left more room to enjoy the dessert.
Service was great although it took awhile to get our desserts. Staff were very friendly. They’re pretty new in this spot so I’m sure they are still figuring some stuff out!

We just went for the first time and loved it. We got Focaccia, Lasagna (comes with a LEGIT amount of sauce), and Cacio e pepe… All 3 were excellent. Pricing is very reasonable. Good portions. Jazz vibes and lighting were on point. We’ll be back soon. This place is killer.

So happy to have them back in the neighborhood. Favorite pasta around – the wild boar is perfection, the cacio e pepe my fav. Order the Tiramisu for dessert. Lovely people, lovely food. Five stars.

We had a great dinner at Estes! The ossobuco with polenta was divine and the lasagne was delish! We also had the focaccia and ricotta and I’m still dreaming about them. We had to go to a comedy show otherwise we would have had dessert. I’m regretful that we didn’t have time after looking at everyone else’s pictures!

My first visit here was last night but it will definitely not be my last! Once inside, we were warmly welcomed, promptly seated, and received friendly and knowledgeable service. I had the focaccia and the pasta all’amatriciana. Both were excellent. I’ve had amatriciana numerous times in other restaurants but it has never exceeded my expectations the way this version did..wow! Before we left, I was already planning my next visit..that’s just how wonderful this place is.

Absolutely wonderful food! I knew Patrick was talented, but wow. This is the most exciting food I’ve eaten in a long time! Every flavor was incredible—my palate is alive! We tried several dishes, and each one was exquisite. I can’t wait to bring all my friends and family to this restaurant. Check it out ASAP!
