Food: 5/5
Service: 4/5
Ambiance: 2/5
Overall: Of course I’d come back for this.
Malasadas – 5/5 – You seriously can’t go wrong with this! No matter what flavor you want is literally magical in the mouth! This time I got the special flavors of haupia and dobash! Sooooo tasty!!!
Service: 4/5 – Service with a smile.
Ambiance: 3/5 – Since it’s a mobile truck in the middle of a parking lot…not much of an ambiance. LOL.

Delicious donuts place!! We stopped this place before we went to the airport! Everything was hot and freshly made! Original one was my favorite! There are many delicious flavors and they were all good!
Personality, it was little too sweet so if they put less sugar, that would be perfect for me!
Anyways, had definitely a good time!
Cheers

Craving for something sweet and warm, nothing like a hot Malasada. This food truck offers the famous Leonard’s Malasadas. They are delicious and a must have when coming to Hawaii.

Just came from there. Got an original and it was only half cooked. Ate some uncooked dough. If I were you, I would tear it in half before leaving to make sure it’s fully cooked.

The malasadas were very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I tried both the coconut and chocolate fillings. You could definitely taste the coconut, and the chocolate was very tasty. The only downside was that both malasadas were a bit too sweet especially the chocolate filling. If you like sugary sweets, you’ll probably love it. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

This was delicious. I wished they’d have a more tropical or sour filling to balance out the sweetness. They have a custard filled malasada which is good but if they had a passion fruit one or a pineapple or a mango filled one, they would raise the caliber to the max. For someone like me who doesn’t care for very sweet deserts, I need that balance but the dough itself was soft and gooey in the best of ways.

Brah, I had order 6 malasadas (3 custard and 3 haupia fillings) but when I had open em, only had 5 malasadas in the box then I had eat one and NO FILLINGS. My family ate the rest and all of em no fillings as well. All just plain.
We didn’t realize it and eat it until we were close to home. I wanted to go back but had plenty traffic already.
Sorry but you guys just wasted my money

Delicious original Malasadas donuts. I highly suggest eating them as soon as you buy them to eat them warm and fresh. They have filled chocolate, custard or coconut but the best of the best is always the original. Stop for a cup of coffee before you get here to enjoy your Malasadas more because then only sell water here.

It’s my favorite malasadas that I must have when coming to Hawaii. Make it fresh to order, but it takes some time to have the order ready. They could have expedited the process by having them cook in advance since every morning is busy. I take a star off because I waited 20 minutes for my order compared with the one at the outlet mall, which is precooked for order.
