Since opening in the fall of 2021, Northside Pie has been a favorite go to for traditional and unique pizzas and wings. After being a takeout only restaurant for years, we have recently expanded our space into a large sports bar offering multiple TV’s, pool tables, darts, trivia, an expanded food menu and a full bar. Small town called Gunter, Texas has a cute little unassuming, pizza and sub shop. Stopped in for our first try. We each ordered a sub (2) and it came to $24.00. A bit steep , since it doesn’t come with chips, or fries, or a drink. I got the chicken, bacon ranch, sub. Bread is so good! Friendly staff, clean place of business.

So happy there is a place to hangout in Gunter! The space looks great, staff is great, and the food is really tasty! We had the order of (6) Garlic Parmesan wings and a Brisket Pizza. Both were so good! My fiancé and I shared this with some of our favorite drinks. Great tap selection too!

Requested thin crust hand tossed, have of it is a bit under cooked dough not done taste and the other pieces crunchy from over cooked. There were only a few pieces of spinach on it, and it didn’t look or taste the best pizza. I even had to add some shredded parmasan to help the taste. They may have had an off moment. I will try again, hopefully, for a better one

We were so hopeful for this place to be good. But, it wasn’t. The cheese pizza was terrible. We got a medium, an order of fried ravioli and it was nearly $30 for tasteless food. There was no ice in the drink machine and tables were not cleaned after people ate. All around a bad experience of dining out.

Great stop along our route! The food was solid, but the service was even better. Ashley is an absolute champ — friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit feel like a happy surprise. Definitely worth a stop!

This place was super cool! There are pool tables, darts, and good music! Hayden (the bartender) was awesome- he was very attentive and served great drinks. He recommended the brisket pizza and it was SO GOOD! My husband and I will definitely be back!

The food is amazing and the atmosphere is great. We had a couple of old fashioneds that were perfectly made. We ordered 3 different pizzas and could not decide on which was best. They were short staffed when we went but most places are now days. We ordered hasta la vista, my cousin vinny and show me the meats

The pizza is phenomenal! By far the best pizza in the county. They have continuously gotten better at timing and execution.
But even if they didn’t get better in those areas, I would still keep coming back . It is damn good pizza. It’s unique pizza. It’s nostalgic pizza. It’s unmatched pizza. Once you try it you won’t consider other options. This is it!
