I was absolutely blown away by Fresh salt!
We made reservations a few days in advance and were quickly seated. The food arrived so fast, we barely waited!
I got the sautéed salmon and the others got swordfish as well as fried calamari. Both types of fish had a perfect cook to them and the sides were fantastic! The swordfish was rich and buttery and the salmon had a crisp edge and a juicy inside. I cleared my plate!
The others also got desserts. The salted caramel gelato was absolutely incredible, rich and creamy with a clearly high quality caramel drizzle.
I would absolutely recommend Fresh Salt, we had a great dining experience and I cannot wait to return.

My daughter & I went here for brunch, really fell in love with the place. I want to do a staycation one of these days! It’s within a gorgeous resort right on the water. Lobster is our favorite & they did not disappoint with it on their menu. Very large space, you will always have a great view wherever you sit. Food was great & service was amazing.

One of our favorite places in the Shore. We go after Goodspeed plays, boat cruises or just to have a great meal. Service is good, innovated menu with excellent standards.

Nothing can beat the Sunday brunch for $60 if you are in the mood for some good food and are starving. There’s not that many brunch buffets or buffets in the area in general but this is worth it. I still have not tried everything but my go to is their carving station and pasta bar. Also exceptional service.

Amazing seafood. Exceptional customer service. Beautiful ambiance with the marina views, wood paneling, and fireplace. Just be prepared to spend a good $75-100 a person just for food.

My only knock on the restaurant is a startling lack of diversity in the clientele on a Saturday night. I swear I was the only brunette in the room. There was all of one person of color. It was a strange vibe in such a diverse and inclusive state like Connecticut. But I don’t know why. The clientele are also extremely formal. Definitely make a reservation for dinner well in advance on a weekend.

Lunch is more casual and laid back. I recommend the hot lobster roll with truffle fries and a salad. For dinner, get whatever the seafood specials are. They’re divine.

After dinner, go for a sunset walk on the causeway right next to the restaurant. It takes you past two lighthouses and a resident swan.

Went out for my wife’s birthday and it was wonderful! Great food and smart nice staff. This is a favorite elegant place to eat and not really very expensive considering how good it is. Highly recommend.

We spent a relaxing afternoon overlooking the marina while dining. The food was great. We enjoyed oysters, clams, shrimp, a charcuterie board, a lobster roll and more to celebrate my parent’s 57th wedding anniversary! The portions of the food were just right and the quality was top notch. I especially enjoyed the shrimp. My wife loved her after dinner drink, the banana foster cocktail. We will definitely go back.

I love fresh salt! Its a beautiful atmosphere, the service is always great and their food is 10/10. They also have a great wine menu which is always a nice touch, introduces you to stuff you may have never tried!

Delicious seafood and tranquil view of the marina. The lobster roll was my favorite. The swordfish dish was a bit bland and needed some seasoning. I had a classic margarita and it was mediocre. Nice hotel for a wedding or event.
