I am a regular at happy hour! You cannot beat it half off appetizers from 4-6 and drink specials all night long Monday-Thursday, in the bar area only. The bartenders are friendly and the food is good. Where else can you get ribs and a side for about $6?!

I have been absolutely craving Texas Roadhouse for weeks and today was payday so I finally got it and the service was beyond incredible, the food was great, and honestly it’s the Texas Roadhouse experience I remember from my childhood. Our waitress, Taylor, was extremely attentive, friendly, and prompt; going above and beyond with her speed of service and keeping me and my mother happy (we not once ran out of rolls). The only downside to this visit was the steaks we ordered were slightly overcooked, but still edible so there isn’t much at all to complain about at all! Wonderful visit and will come again!

Busy, folks this location is gangbusters busy. An incredible vibe, energy in the air and EVERYONE is having a great evening out.
The service is top shelf stuff here. The management must demand excellence and the wait-staff and kitchen folks deliver.
The steaks are HOT tasty juicy and delicious! The salad is served on a COLD plate in a COLD bowl. And the salad is fresh, not leftover from 3 days ago.
The baked potato was hot, baked to perfection with course salt and BUTTER!!!! Folks, this baked potato is almost better than sex!
Drinks are cold and served in glass with clear ice cubes, no funky taste. Ice tea is fresh brewed and just the right sweetness. Heaven has to be just around the corner!

This location when it comes to food is great, the service is good for it being so busy during dinner hours on the weekends. Waits are over an hour long to be seated on weekends and it takes a while to also get the food after being seated because it is just very crowded. If you don’t mind the wait and have patience it’s fine , but if you’re not looking for a long wait you may want to look into another location. I personally wait.

There was a short wait to get in, which wasn’t surprising given how popular the place is. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. The ribeye steak was delicious. The portions were generous. The steak fries were a highlight as side — definitely recommend them. The whole baked potato side was also quite good. The green beans side, on the other hand, were underwhelming and we didn’t end up finishing them. Still, a solid experience if you’re craving a good steak dinner.

We had an absolutely top-notch experience. Our server Sierra was so kind, friendly, and on top of everything from drink refills, suggestions and little pieces that our family needed throughout our meal to make it a great experience. The kitchen did accidentally overcook one of our steaks but they were fantastic about recovering the meal, and the remake was cooked perfectly. All of our meals were truly fantastic! Appetizers were great and the dessert was delicious. We will for sure be back at this location!

Texas Roadhouse remains one of our go-to spots in Louisville for a reliable family dinner. While everyone knows them for the steaks and those addictive rolls with cinnamon butter, we branched out on this visit and were fairly impressed.
The Food
Fried Catfish: This is easily one of the best non-steak items on the menu. The U.S. farm-raised catfish is hand-battered in cornmeal and comes out incredibly crispy without being greasy. Make sure to ask for the Creole mustard sauce—it adds a perfect tangy kick that pairs better than standard tartar sauce.
Country Vegetable Plate: This is a great value if you want to skip the heavy entrees. You get to choose four made-from-scratch sides. We went with the sweet baked potato, cup of chili, steak fries, and mixed veggies. Between those, the rolls, and the peanuts we had enough for 3 and still brought some home.
The Drinks
New Cream Sodas: We tried the new Strawberry and Vanilla Cream Sprite mocktails. They are a fun, nostalgic addition to the beverage menu. It’s essentially a “dirty soda” style drink that is very sweet and creamy—almost like a dessert. Pro tip: if you’re feeling indulgent, you can actually order a scoop of vanilla ice cream to turn it into a float.
The only reason for four stars instead of five is the wait time; even with “call-ahead” seating, it’s always packed so there’s a struggle to find a place out of the way to wait. However, the service was friendly, and they were great about our specific “no onions/no cheese” requests.
