Ordered about 14 tacos from here, asked for 5 of them with no lettuce and tomato. Not only did I get shorted 2 tacos, but they all came with lettuce and tomato. Like seriously, why can’t you just honor simple requests? Not to mention they were barely luke warm. I get it was near the last hour of you guys being open, but that’s not an excuse for poor quality and service.

By far the worse food I’ve ever had at any restaurant and I dnt really do reviews but I had to this time. Mac n cheese has absolutely no flavor all you taste is pasta and it tastes store bought, chicken was decent, rib tips tasted boiled and flavorless with watery sauce, and the greens which were the worst part of this meal came straight from a can and they didnt even try to season them or nothing. The Woodles were good that’s it. Unfortunately the meal I paid 18.50 I can’t even eat half of it it’s just not good so I threw it away. Will not ever go back. 0/10

We tried to go in and eat but the doors was lock. So we go thru the drive-thru and waited 15min for ribs tips w/fries and chicken wings w/onion rings meals both came with can sodas. By the time we got ours meals fries was hot n nasty. So basically they reheated the fries. But remember I order onion rings. So my oreder was wrong. The ribs tip meal wasn’t ribs tips. So that was wrong. We just threw the food away. Just a sad case.

First time trying the food here and was VERY disappointed. The service was great, you do have to wait for a few minutes as they cook your food so it’s fresh. We got Mac and cheese and seasoned potatoes for our sides and the taste for both just wasn’t good. Mac and cheese tasted like nothing but garlic and the potatoes had seasoning on top but were still a little hard and raw tasting and no taste to them at all. The ribs were pretty good, tender and flavorful. Definitely disappointed in the food as I’ve always heard good things about this restaurant. Personally don’t think it was worth the money we paid but the service was very good.

Its drive trough only. Taco Tuesday is nice a fish friday.. but you will wait a very long time if there’s more then one car in front you leave.. you will be their more than a hour.. trust me.. I waited 1.5 hours 4 cars a head then got to the window I was told they where out of tacos.. wasn’t happy

Trying to support black owned business disappointment this time. Expected homemade cuisine. The greens were clearly from a can, potato salad flavorless from Gordon’s or Sams and the mac n cheese was store bought with a failed attempt to doctor up. The fried catfish was not seasoned and bland. Won’t be returning to this establishment.

Food was good but the 3 little strips (like 1/4th a fillet) and onion rings for $12 felt like I got ripped off. Thankfully it was fresh and good. Lady at the window didn’t say anything other than my total, being a little friendly when charging a premium would be nice.

Just nasty me and my wife drive from Saginaw trying to support black own business and yessss me and my wife was so disappointed when we got our food when I tell you both plater was so nasty we spent 47.87 and we only took about 4 bites out of everything we bought to try to see if we was tripping but when I tell you we wasn’t Tripping it was the food was horrible no seasoned on the fish and the rib tips was fatty and not clean and the bake beans taste so nasty who put cinnamon in bake beans slavery meal

First of all, don’t ever order there without ordering the lemon pound cake. Especially if it’s made fresh.. it’s painfully good.
As far as mall food goes, this place isn’t that. Although they don’t offer a lot of meatless options, the selection of made-to-order food is impressive. The wait period is a lot longer than your typical mall food order, but it’s the result of making your food to order. Which I’m willing to wait a few extra minutes for.
The decor/set-up is outdated but it’s got a real ‘mom and pop’ vibe and for someone who wants something other than sweet & sour chicken or pizza, this is your place.
The catfish sandwich is the best I’ve had from anywhere. Portions are big, staff is pretty chill. Side orders are nothing out of the ordinary.
This is the only place I get mall food from.
