Congratulations Lindsay and Nolan on your engagement! We were able to share in this amazing day and celebrated at The Lakeview restaurant for dinner and YES they do have Million-Dollar sunset views overlooking Lake Bellaire! The Lakeview experience went above and beyond to make this evening special for the newlyweds and the guests. We dined in and I selected the prime rib special with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The prime rib was medium rare perfectly cooked. The taste was on point and everything came out to the table hot and ready. Our server was very personable and very fun to interact with. Her name Tag said the grumpy old lady but her name was Cheryl. She was not grumpy at all They did not have a Merlot but offered others options. I enjoyed a glass of a red blend and it was delicious. The menu had so many food options it was like trying to pick a favorite star in the heavens. There was a table full of us and a assortment of meals were consumed with nothing but compliments on the chosen dish. Overall great evening of Food, Friends and Family.

Overall, a great restaurant/sports grill. The prices are a bit high for the quality of the food but it was alright. My partner had the meatballs which were great in taste. I had the Butternut Squash ravioli with Italian sausage. The ravioli was good but I’d reccomend the cook use ground Italian sausage instead of big cut up chunks of brat like meat as it seemed too large and out of place taking away from enjoyment of the ravioli which I considered the best part of the dish. It was kind of like having a huge frame on a small picture and I felt like I was eating at a summer cookout. The view is great as it overlooked the hillside where tubing happens in the winter. The menu is small but has some unique dishes. I would probably go here again for drinks and the view.

I was skeptical about the place considering some of the previous reviews but I had a great experience. I was told they recently updated their menu, so the one online isn’t the same one you get when you sit down. I wasn’t disappointed at all and I’m a picky eater. I ordered cedar plank salmon and my wife ordered NY strip. We had Arancini as an appetizer and I could have had 3 more orders. I gave this restaurant 4 stars because the prices were a bit high and the service was a bit slow but altogether a solid experience with a beautiful view.

We just went tonight for Valentine’s Day dinner. Just was the best meal I’ve ever had up here! The only thing that could of topped everything was having a beautiful sunset. There just wasn’t a sunset at all tonight.

COMPETENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE, & KIND ABOUT GLUTEN-FREE, IN BELLAIRE – I called ahead and talked to Danielle (who was AMAZING, kind, and gracious, btw), and she walked me through each menu item that would be safe from gluten and made note of my allergy on my reservation. Our waitress was also very knowledgable about what would be safe for me. They even told me that they use a GF spices blend for all their grilling. My husband and I both ordered the steak and mashed potatoes and it was so tasty. We each also ordered a dessert—I ordered creme brûlée and it was delicious! I did not get even the slightest bit sick. I was very pleased with our experience, and we would definitely go back. We sat at a lovely table by the windows and got to watch the sunset over Bellaire Lake. It’s so wonderful when you can relax about your food-intolerance enough to enjoy a beautiful evening and dining experience. Thank you to the gracious staff at The Lakeview Restaurant. We never even told them it was our 20th wedding anniversary. But they helped to make it so special and worry-free. Note to celiacs: The menu does state that their kitchen is not gluten free and there could be cross-contamination.

The only positive aspect of this place was the view. My husband and I had a 5:00 PM reservation and were seated right away. It’s worth noting that we were the only table there for the first 15 minutes. Our server—whose name we were never given—greeted us promptly and took our drink and appetizer order. That initial interaction was the best part of the service.
Our drinks and appetizers arrived quickly, but after that, the service completely fell apart. The server never returned to our table. I watched closely—she didn’t have any other tables and spent most of the time leaning against the bar. Despite our empty drinks and obvious need for attention, she walked by multiple times without saying a word.
Once we finished our appetizers, we were eager to order dinner, but we were never given the chance. The lack of follow-up and care was incredibly disappointing. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, and we won’t be returning.

Service was excellent, views were great. We requested the window seat and were comped drinks for a brief wait. Drinks & After dinner drinks were great!
Food was good, not great, IMO spices should be used more sparingly, a simple salt & pepper not poultry seasoning.
The resort overall looked great, quaint little resort area for families and/or golfers.

Food is great but service is so awful is disappointing. You will wait forever for your food and drink order. If you are lucky your server might remember to bring your drinks. Service does not reflect the cost of food and drinks.
