I came to Brookstreet BBQ after a summer workout at the park. I crave for some smoked briskets. It was late afternoon and barely anyone in there. Service was fast. But there seemed to be some communication issue with the cashier. Order took a while. The food was fine. I’ll try again next time.

Food is good but provided no barbecue sauce even though I asked for extra no bread even though I asked for it and several other things were not correct. Had to go run to the store to buy barbecue sauce. Didn’t want to leave the HOUSE. .defeated the entire purpose of spending extra on takeout. Not a great experience.

We love Brookstreet! The restaurant is very clean and the food is fresh. We love getting the baked potatoes which have a plenty of meat and are good sized. We’ve eaten in and take to go, both with good results. Sometimes the staff are tired but they’re not rude. They’re well versed in the menu and helpful. A great BBQ restaurant in the area!

Over priced with small portions. I ordered 2 baked potatoes with meat and 4 meat plate to bring home to eat with my wife. The baked potatoes were hard , not fully consumed with condiments and barely no meat in the potato. The 4 meat plate I ordered marble brisket, chopped brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. Few small pieces of brisket, little pieces of chopped brisket and pulled pork. Few pieces of cut sausage. Just know I want spend my money on poor quality food that’s overcooked and overpriced for what you are paying for to eat.

portion size for the amount of money ($21.95) is not worth It. The was brisket was tough, the ribs were dry & the sausage was OK.
All of the sides taste store-bought, except for the macaroni, which was actually good. The coleslaw was old. The potato salad taste like Walmart and the potato casserole was a little salty and not much to it. I will not be background

A colleague of mine always refused to eat here. When I asked why he always would just say “they’re too stingy”. Didn’t understand what he meant. I went there one day for lunch and asked for chicken for my 2 meat plate. I was asked if I wanted White meat of dark meat . I asked for dark meat and requested a wing and leg. Only to be told “no!” If you want that buy the chicken dinner. Now I see what my colleague meant. If I can’t even request the cuts of meat I’d prefer why would I ever eat there? Safe to say I won’t be returning.

After homespun mom & pop shop Dozier’s in Fulshear, TX, this is my favorite (and the best IMHO) BBQ place in the Houston Metropolitan Area. Their food is delicious and well made. Their pulled pork, shredded beef and ham BBQ sandwiches are great. I also love their okra. Good customer service and nice dine-in experience, as well as the option to go.

Consistently flavorful. Always plenty of seating. I’m disappointed that you can’t select your own toppings. And they used to have free ice cream but they removed that option.

Just had a (marbled) brisket dinner and the brisket was terrific! Super tender and didn’t have a ton of fat. Brisket is one of my favorites Bbq meats and this location did it right!
