Another update because the owner likes to double down:
My feelings are far from hurt. How about you not assume things you know NOTHING about. My opinion is VALID. Welcome to reviews. ALL reviews are opinions! And all reviews are to help support or inform other customers about the business. So my opinion is valid about your business. You have got to be one of the worst business owners I’ve ever interacted with. Even if I liked your “ice cream” this simple interaction would be enough to never want to give you another penny. And I hope other people read your responses to all these “negative” reviews because how you run a business/talk to PAYING customers, is so much more disgusting than the below average ice cream you serve. Have the day you deserve.

I understand someone being passionate about their business, as one should be. But being aggressive in your response to customers not liking your ice cream/shop is ridiculous. You have absolutely no idea who all was with me and what they ordered. They also all ordered your ICE CREAM and did not like it. One person in my party had your SORBET and it was foamy and frothy. It was weird and we did not like it. They told me this was one of the worst ice cream shops they have been to. We are from Portland, Oregon. A place that has a TON of handmade inhouse ice cream. So do not come at me that we do not know good ice cream or that we only like store freezer ice cream. I gave you three stars. That’s an average rating. Not negative, not positive. But after your response I will be moving that three stars to one star. How you treat your customers is more important than any food you can produce. I have also read all of your responses to your negative reviews, you seriously need to learn how to take feedback as a shop owner and stop aggressively responding to customers. I hope that you will learn to be more respectful of customers, even if they have a negative opinion of your products.

Lots of choices but those choices are limited too. Over half of the choices for sorbet have dairy in it. I tried a sorbet with dairy and I won’t be doing that again, it was gross and made my stomach hurt. Know I know I should have read the sign but I’ll be honest that I’ve never seen or heard of dairy being in sorbet. We came less then an hour after opening and over four of their flavors were out. I wanted bubble gum or chocolate peanut butter but both were out. Honestly, I don’t recommend and wouldn’t be back.

This little ice cream shop was a great spot! Very old school feeling with an incredible amount of options. I would guess 30+ flavors. There are local nicknacks for sale on the counter too! Parking was easy and service was amazing!

They have BLUE MOON ICE CREAM! if you don’t know what that is that’s fine but those who are looking for this flavor they have it! They call it (Coos blue) though but it is the same as I remember! The other flavor were all good too and handmade waffle bowls they made right in front of us! What a great spot!!

Okay we had a long day of riding and before bed we were wanting some ice cream. We went online and found this place. When you walked in you could smell the wonderful smell of fresh waffle cons. They had tons of different flavors of ice cream and the staff was very nice. The owners mom was helping us and the owner herself was there working. I had a bubble cone which is something you have to try and my wife a regular waffle cone. It is a must go if in town. You will be happy

Me and my husband had driven past Scoops all the time and figured it was Coos Bay’s chain, like Baskin Robbins, but it was so much better! The craftmenship in the wide variety of flavors and omage to all things local is clear. I got the eggnog with salted caramel sauce and it was hands down the best ice cream I’ve gotten in a shop! Now we’ve got to pace ourselves so we’re not there all the time

I was disappointed that my peanut butter and chocolate ice cream was made w/ a few squirt’s of Peanut sauce from a plastic squeeze bottle!

The handmade ice cream whether you have it in a sugar cone, waffle cone or bowl is absolutely delicious!! On top of delicious sweets her husband makes these awesome boxes with hidden drawers and personalized etched pictures for sell!!

I was pleasantly surprised to see bubble waffles on the menu. Both the bubble waffle and ice cream were delicious! The staff were excellent. Really enjoyed the aesthetics and vibe as well. Will definitely return in the future!

Haven’t checked this place out since I don’t often come to this plaza but decided to tonight, and we will be back! They were happy to check ingredients for me and they had lots of awesome nicnacs/wooden gaming items. Very cool place! Also the ice cream was fantastic ❤️
