Update: Came back the next day and had the Carnitas Omelette, just as I expected. Perfection. Can’t wait to try more menu items.
This was our first time having dinner here. We got the fried pickle spears for our appetizer. They were amazing! We got the steak tacos and carnitas. They were both great! The pickled onions on top were so good. The seasoned fries were delish.. nice a crispy. We got coconut rice also..my favorite! Never had coconut rice before but it is my new favorite! The service was great
Our server was friendly and personable.
We will be back again, can’t wait to try different things on the menu!
It’s not a Mexican place but it has some Mexican influences which makes for some tasty food.
Staff was great and very attentive. Looking forward to when they open for dinner!
The dining room was pretty empty, so we were seated immediately. We started with a couple appetizers, the bacon wrapped jalapeños and the bruschetta. The four peppers were filled with a cream cheese, then wrapped with crispy bacon, cooked to perfection, then drizzled with a balsamic glaze. The bruschetta was herbaceous, yet nicely balanced, with small toast points.
For entrees, I had the fettuccine Alfredo with salmon, while my wife had pasta with grilled chicken ina vodka sauce. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the sauce had a strong, yet pleasant, parmesan flavor. The vodka sauce was somewhat different than we were used to, but was still excellent, and the chicken was melt-in-your-mouth tender.
For a place like this to be that slow on a weekend tells me that people just don’t know what they’re missing out on. We will most certainly be back to try more from their menu.
