Disappointing experience from start to finish. The service was a disaster. Our server had no knowledge of the wine or drink menu and could only name one vodka option. The restaurant is in a temporary space with a very limited menu, which is fine — but service should still be competent.
We asked for sparkling water and were brought tap water first, then sparkling later. Glasses arrived dirty. We asked to taste a wine and the server had no information about it. By that point, we had six glasses cluttering a tiny café-size table, and no one cleared anything throughout dinner.
When I ordered a second glass of wine, it was an extremely short pour (about an inch of wine) for $13. I went to the bar to ask for a normal pour. About 10 minutes later, the server returned with a cordial-sized glass of red wine to top off the already short pour. We even overheard staff laughing about it. We had no idea what was in that small glass and didn’t feel comfortable drinking it.
For ravioli, pizza, and 2.5 glasses of very average wine, the bill was $95. The value and service were completely out of line with the experience. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
If you want, I can also give you a shorter version (sometimes Google’s algorithm surfaces concise reviews more).

Good for casual TGIF. Unfortunately, out of several wines; house wines okay. Good wings and Bolognese. Okay Caesar salad and crab cakes. Sole waiter was diligent but harried. Good service by helpers.

A pre-concert meal. Though the service was leaving something to be desired after our first server Jeremy was cut for the day. The food was delicious and the location was perfect. We ordered crab soup, a pizza, crabcakes and the Bolognese.

Small but excellent menu! My husband and I ate here twice during our stay in Baltimore. We each got something different both visits and everything was wonderful. Highly recommend the Buratta, the brick oven pizza, Maryland Crab soup if you like spicy, the crab dip pizza appetizer, and the Tuscan burger! Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy.

Food = Expensive. But worth it. You’re not gonna have a quick, cheap meal here. It’s supposed to be sit down and nice. A little extra for quality food. And it was generally.
Service = Boy… Ya’ll need some help here. The hostess was disinterested and unhelpful. The waiter was disengaged and only stopped by twice. The food while good, took forever to come out. Luckily I was here with a friend I hadn’t seen in over a year so we had a LOT to talk about. But you all need to seriously amp up the attitude. I get it… Service job in 2025. But at least put on a little smile? If not, find something else to get that paycheck.
Atmosphere = Cramped and weird. People were eating at benches on end tables? It was awkward as heck. We still stayed and ate and talked and enjoyed our food. But between the staff and odd placement of the restaurant I’d skip this place next time I’m in town.

I’ve been coming here for years, since they opened. Came for an early dinner after a Sunday matinee at the Hippodrome and was completely disappointed. The server was uninterested, pretty much like an automaton going through the motions. They were out of French fries for goodness sake! The food was passable, definitely not worth the prices though. So sad that this place used to be so nice and has dropped so far.

I tried B&O for the first time 2 weeks ago for happy hour, I’ve been 4 times since. Needless to say pretty good experiences. I’m usually not the biggest fan of smoked wings but The wings are really really good. Each time I’ve tried the drink of the day I’ve been thoroughly impressed there bartender Matt really takes his craft serious. The staff is always very friendly & courteous. Also it’s gorgeous inside, check them out if you’re in the downtown area.

RUDE! Pony tailed slim waiter was horrible to me. I simply asked what was happening in the kitchen to understand why a table that I heard order 15 minutes got their food first and he gave a strange answer. But he said they were putting the cheese on my burger. Another 15 minutes later I asked how the cheese was going and he screamed! 45 minutes to get a burger at 4pm .. the order probably wasn’t given. The bartender was nice. The food was good. I go there 2-3 times a year, every time I’m in Baltimore … something’s changed.

Great service. The place was very busy. The staff was extremely friendly and was very attentive. Every person did every job, the true benchmark of teamwork.
The food was great. I got the chicken and waffle. Mrs. Wally got the French Toast. We each got the chicken sausages, cooked just a bit crispy, juicy and full of flavor.
The building is a repurposed train headquarters for the historic Baltimore and Ohio (B&O on the Monopoly board for you game night enthusiasts). Flanked by two bars, the dining room has a map of the original rail line on the wall.

Cozy intimate place in the hotel. Bar food but well done and a reasonable price. The folks working there were super attentive and friendly. I had the shrimp pizza.
