My wife has been ill while visiting Progresso and today decided she would eat. Pizza? Oh ok! We found the closest place to our accommodations and walked over. At first we didn’t know we were in the right place, but we were. We went in and met Ivan and ordered a pizza. He told us about a half hour wait. I explained the situation with my wife and told him that was too long for her to wait. I told him where we were staying and I would come back to get it. At this point he OFFERED to bring it over..NO CHARGE!! I was really grateful and a little blown away, such a nice and caring GENTLEMAN. He was at our hotel in 35 minutes accompanied by his wee darling boy. I paid for the very reasonably priced pizza and a good tip for his service and kindness. The pizza was DELICIOUS…and I say that as a chronic pizza guy. Thank you Ivan, for the best experience I’ve had in your wonderful country. Make no mistake, I’ll be back to see you again!

What a wonderful evening! Great food and the staff were very attentive. I can definitely recommend this place for dinner.

This is perhaps one of the best meals that I have eaten out this year.
The pasta was cooked perfectly, the cream sauce was neither too thick, nor runny and the bacon and sausage combination was very tasty.
I heard groans of ecstacy over the meat ravioli. And the cesar salads were well presented with nice slices of parmesan cheese.
All in all a great meal.

Ivan makes amazing pizza and pastas! I don’t think I have had anything here that I didn’t love. It is such a cute little restaurant and Ivan and his staff go above and beyond. We have had 2 different birthday parties here and Bistro Progresó always makes it special!

This “off the beaten track” small restaurant was excellent. We went twice for dinner. Seafood pasta dish and then a new york steak. The owner/cook is a very personable young guy and the service was excellent and fast. The setting is very basic, but that is part of the charm and experience.

We have eaten at the Bistro several times. Ivan is a great chef and always prepares the food using fresh ingredients from rolls, pizza, salad and pasta. Pepe is a very nice server…friendly and is always ready to deliver what you need. All of the food we have had is excellent!

What a wonderful experience. If you want your dollars to go directly back to the community, this is the place! Homemade pasta, fresh salad, great service, perfect portions. I think that the bread was homemade as well. Please visit and enjoy the family experience. Only 3 or 4 tables….so will never be crowded.
