Food was good, service was terrible. Server/Bartender had rude attitude. We had a reservation. No one came to the table for a half hour even after we mentioned to the hostess. We received drinks one hour after we were seated. Our server roamed around chatting to people while we sat and waited. Our appetizers and dinners all came out at the same time.
No one apologized for the delay. Our server told us we needed to learn how to be “patient”, it’s a busy restaurant. Even though 2 tables sat a half hour after us and received food and drinks before us from the same server/bartender. Our experience the other two nights at “super busy” restaurants in the area we experienced friendly competent servers. Would never go back.

Was there for a group dinner. Buffet was really good. Food was hot and they had enough lines open so service was quick. Especially appreciated the veg selection. They served sausage peppers in the main lines and vegetarian sausage on a side table (BTW the veg sausage was pretty good). Best part could have been the dessert table, excellent cheese cake.

We attended the NYE Family Party hosted by Harriman’s Restaurant. Unfortunately, this event was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The venue felt more like a dingy corporate or wedding hall than a family friendly resort event, and the experience only went downhill from there.

We arrived around 7:00 pm and by that point all tables were already taken, most of the food was gone, and the remaining options were very low quality. Think cafeteria style food: soggy pigs in a blanket, cold fries, packaged Uncrustables, cheese, and an overwhelming amount of cherry tomatoes. It felt poorly planned for the number of guests attending.

The bar situation was equally frustrating. There was only one bartender for the entire room, and the drink line would easily have taken close to an hour. Many adults were clearly overwhelmed by the chaos and long waits, which did not help the overall atmosphere.

For kids, the options were extremely limited. There were only two activities offered, face painting and temporary tattoos, both with lines that would have taken well over an hour. There were no other organized activities, games, or entertainment, so kids were left running around the space with nothing to do. It felt chaotic rather than festive.

When dessert finally came out, a small number of cupcakes and ice cream popsicles, those ran out quickly as well. At that point, all of our kids were asking to leave, and we did.

Overall, the event lacked charm, organization, and effort. It felt significantly under resourced for the number of attendees and not thoughtfully designed for families or adults. This was not enjoyable for kids or parents, and it is not something we would attend again unless major improvements are made.

Recently had dinner here with my daughter. Food is consistently good. Our server was so sweet and attentive; hence the 5 stars for service.

Ali is an incredible bartender. You HAVE to come here for an Apres Ski. She’s fun, kind, and loves to serve you after a day of snowy runs. She’d the bartender you want after a cold fun day.

We sat and didn’t have anyone come to the table for over 30 minutes. We even went up to the hostess to tell her no one has came up to us yet and then still another 10 minutes and nothing. Incredibly disappointing. Edit: it’s been 20 minutes since I posted this and NOTHING

Stopped here for a quick bite in the evening. Got some scallops and a salad, both were delicious. We also got a sundae for dessert which was divine.

I am so grateful that we could order to-go food the night we first arrived to West Dover and all the restaurants were closed at 9.30 pm but Harriman’s let us to order! In the meantime we got a cider at the bar which was delicious. The food was amazing and the kindness and humour of the server was unforgettable! Definitely a must in West Dover!

I just love going here. Everytime I’m here I feel greeted like I’m someone’s family or close friend. The food is excellent and everyone working in the restaurant truly seems to love what they do. This is an unseen quality where I’m from and I truly appreciate it.
