Today I visited Playa Bowls around 4:40 for the first time. Unfortunately the two snotty, rude dismissive Caucasian females behind the counter ruined it for me. When a customer enters a place of business they deserve a proper greeting (acknowledging their presence) and welcoming them to your place of business. I was met with a very nasty: “Did you order online or do you need to place an order now!”
Excuse me, whatever happened to hello?
While the food was ok, definitely won’t be returning to this location. Lucky for me I looked at the menu online and knew what I wanted. Horrible customer service.

Always great service. I order through the an and before I hit submit they usually have it ready.

I had a pleasant experience here, very tasty and well made. Major downside was the fruits which were NOT fresh! Otherwise order was ready quickly and the cashier was pleasant. Parkings are available outside which is an add. Indoor atmosphere was cozy. The menu has a lot of options which worth trying. Hope future experiences come with fresh fruits.

Pliables is nice when you want an ice cream sundae without the heavy ice cream. I think of their bowls as more of a cold refreshing treat, but apparently it’s a healthier option. I do enjoy the variety of their offerings on occasion. The prices are fair and this location is clean with good service.

I Love playa bowls they always provide fast and friendly service and i frequent them a lot. However, today I ordered a fruit bowl with just mangoes for my kid and it was only about a quarter of the way full. Keep in mind it’s $12 so I asked the girl making my bowl if she could just please add more and she didn’t say anything but her attitude towards it was very unpleasant. She literally only added one more scoop and the bowl still wasn’t full. I didn’t care to argue but i just think if i order a fruit bowl it should be just as full as my regular bowl. You can clearly see the difference. Just hope next time they aren’t as dismissive of people who are doing business with them.

Don’t get me wrong, I love playa bowls. But something about their presentation recently that’s just been off-putting.
Like who puts peanut butter and Nutella drizzles ON TOP of the fruits and then cover it with a lid?

I’m a DoorDash delivery driver. Today, November 26th, at 8:55 AM, I went to pick up an order and a young man served me. I went to the counter and asked for the order, he went to the back, picked up the order and placed it on a side counter at the back of the store, then came back empty-handed and said that I had to go there to pick it up. Shortly after, another delivery driver arrived and he did the same thing with the other driver. With a rude and arrogant attitude. He went to the back, picked up the order from the freezer, left it there, and came back to us saying that we would have to go there to get it. If he came to us, why didn’t he bring the order? I always pick up orders at this Playabowls and others. No employee has ever done this before. I found the young man’s attitude rude and arrogant.

Had a craving for a tropical bowl today.. The picture speaks for itself. The absolute worse Playa Bowl presentation ever. Looks as I was served a 1/2 eaten bowl. Such a disappointment, especially considering the fact that I’m a frequent customer.

I’m a regular customer and usually love their acai bowls. This time the acai tasted sour, which is not normal. I called the store to ask if they could remake it using a different batch. They said they tried it and claimed nothing was wrong, and refused to replace it.

My experience at Playa Bowls in Oakhurst today was not the best. I love Playa Bowls, and I came in for a bowl. I placed my order with Melany, and at first, she was pleasant. However, she made a mistake with my order. When I politely asked her to fix it, her attitude changed. She did remake the bowl and corrected the error I pointed out.
I had also requested my granola on the side instead of inside the bowl. She handed me a small container of granola, but I asked for another because it was clearly less than the standard 1.5 ounces. She told me that was all that was given when granola is placed on the side. I explained that I asked for it on the side because I still expected the same portion that would normally come in the bowl. At that point, she slammed another container on the counter and told me to take it and go.
I felt this was very impolite and not how customers should be treated. If I pay $19 for my order, I expect to receive everything that comes with it—not to be shorted on ingredients.
