Fantastic! We were very pleasantly surprised for our lunch on our first visit. Sarah was a great server, and the food – oh my goodness, the food!
Everything we tried was from the specials menu that day, and *everything* was good. The gnocchi (house made!) was so good that we’re stopping by on our way home to pick up more as take out.
We would definitely eat here again and give it a hearty recommendation.

I have been eating here for many years and I can say that the food quality and taste remained wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When it’s very busy, the wait time is reasonable and not a huge deal. My only concern is that, the price has increased significantly which is understandable giving the price of goods (inflation) but the portion size has also decreased. How do you justify and or explain price increased but decreased serving size. Overall wonderful place to eat.

Perfect little lake restaurant with some of the best service we’ve ever had! It’s definitely a small town, pretty simple fare place, but everything was well made and thoughtfully done. The service and atmosphere were warm, inviting and competent which has been really hard to find! Will definitely be returning. We wanted to shout out our server Dallas for his fantastic attitude, attention to detail and kindness. My husband doesn’t like ice in his drinks and Dallas remembered when bringing him a water later in the service! It seems small but it was really impactful for our experience!

2/13/24— After my death-defying escapade on the slopes ⛷️, we stumbled upon this gem. Let me tell you, this place has more character than a Dickens novel! It felt like stumbling into Christmas in February, with decorations galore. A cozy bar to my left was buzzing with locals, filling the air with laughter and chatter, setting the perfect ambiance. We snagged a table by the window overlooking the frozen lake. Seriously, this joint deserves a spot in a movie! Location scouts write this place to your list .
Shelby, our waitress, was an absolute delight—friendly, efficient, and didn’t hover over us like a helicopter parent. I hope she is showered with many blessings in life; she’s got that nurturing vibe and those kind eyes that could melt the iciest of hearts.
Now, onto the grub—everyone was digging it. Though, let’s be real, the nachos could’ve used a cheese avalanche. As for my pizza, oh man, it was a slice of heaven! And I’m not even a pizza person! But hey, after surviving the ski slopes, I figured I deserved to indulge. Can you imagine this place in the summer? Dining at Bubba’s with a view of the lake—pure bliss!

Visited on a Tuesday afternoon. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was well made and portions were larger than average. I would not call this spot above average but we felt we got a good meal at a reasonable price. Wife had a burger (possibly from frozen, it was firm with a uniform texture and shape) and some very very good onion rings. I had the grilled chicken wrap which was a good portion and ingredients were fresh. Have been coming to Sunapee for decades and often stop here so that says something….

Amazing little spot! Would definitely be regulars if we were local. I got the fall special – butternut squash ravioli with scallops in a maple sauce, so good. Definitely a menu to please a group, too! Lovely staff, delicious food, beautiful views of the lake. TVs playing the top games around the bar.

Bubba’s is located in a beautiful location, across from the lake. The food is not as good as the view. The chowder was too salty, mostly immetation crab, very thick with corn starch, and gooey texture. Lobster roll meat did taste fresh, it was also over salted. The bathroom was clean, but the area with the toilet had no light so if there was an accident you could not see it. Price $95 with tip, two rolls, two chowders, one soft drink.

Great service and delicious food. The fish from the fish and chips was so thick, flaky and moist. Fries were mediocre but still good. Always a nice place to eat with a beautiful view and nice to have ice cream after your meal especially in the summer!

My wife and I were just passing by on a bike ride and came across this place. We were seated quick, her Buffalo chicken tenders were very tasty. My Bubba burger was good but my onion rings were way over fried.
