Love the small-town feel. The woman tending to customers was so sweet. I had the creme brulee and Earl Gray tea and got some vanilla meringues to go. All was delicious.

Omg if I could give 100 stars I would!!! Such a cute little bakery. It’s such a vibe when you walk in. We got macaroons, turtle cheesecake, praline pecans and an oreo parfait. It was alll amazing and all under $20. The raspberry macaroons are so good. I wish I got more. We will DEFINITELY be back!!!!

Wow! If you haven’t made the trip to Albia to check out Nightingale Bakery, you are truly missing out. The chocolate cheesecake is honestly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The owner bakes everything herself and is incredibly kind and welcoming. It was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at a bakery—from the delicious treats to the heartfelt atmosphere. Go treat yourself… you won’t regret it!

The owner is most likely the one that will serve you. She is the most kind and welcoming person. She makes all the food herself. She is from France, and when I tell you these are better than cheesecake factory cheesecakes, I am not even close to kidding. They are that good. I stop in any chance that I have. Even two of my kids who claim they don’t like cheesecake will eat her cheesecake. 🙂

A beautiful bakery experience – a small group of us arrived after the bakery closed but the owner unlocked the doors, welcomed us in and indulged our many questions about the variety of baked goods she had available. We bought pies, cake and cookies and all were amazing. This bakery is a wonderful addition to small town Albia and we will return to the area because of it!

We are from Minnesota and stopped by while driving through. They have the best cheesecake I’ve ever eaten! Real home-made caramel. All 5 of the people in my group loved what they got and very reasonably priced! You have to visit here if you are in Albia. The owner is very talented.
