We were out of town and wanted some Mexican food. We finally settled on this restaurant. The salsa was great and the chips were thick and not the thin ones that a lot of Mexican restaurants have. The cheese dip was great! We both order fajitas and they were wonderful! We will most definitely be back when in the area!

The chicken alambre tacos are my go to but I’ve never ordered anything I didn’t like. My only complaint with this restaurant is the refried beans are typically a bit on the thin side for my liking but the flavor is good. But the taco definitely makes up for it. My favorite chicken taco in Charlotte hands down.

Came on a Saturday around 5 pm and were immediately seated at a table for 2. Music was loud but we were still able to carry on a conversation. Plenty of seating inside and outside on their patio. Ordered 2 chicken tortas with fries. It did take a while for the chips and salsa to be brought to our table but no biggie. The torta was delicious and the fries were nice and crisp and thankfully not soggy. Overall the whole ambiance was great. Our server was very efficient and friendly. Plenty of side street parking and a free parking lot beside the building. Overall great and delicious Mexican restaurant and will return.

Came here on a Wednesday, they had a special $4.50 beer; I got 2 and also had a Mexican corn on the cob it was great.
I forgot my debit card. I called Jose the next day and he verified they had it, I stopped by to pick it up and they had another special; margarita flight for $15. I also ordered their shredded beef quesadilla which came with fries Everything was delicious. Jose is super friendly and it is a great casual dining spot.

I really wasn’t impressed with this restaurant. It has 5 star prices without the quality to match. The tacos are $7 a piece and had no flavor. I’ve eaten at a lot of Mexican restraints over the years but this ranks towards the bottom for tacos. I got the carne asada and it wasn’t charred at all nor was it seasoned. Looking at the other reviews that voiced similar concerns over the years, it’s safe to say they aren’t listening to their customers. Was here right before noon and restaurant is completely empty. I am the only customer. Probably won’t be back.

They are so good!!!! The BIRRIA TACOS TO DIE FOR! The guac was DELICIOUS even though I wish that they told me they was gonna charge me for it because it was $10 but I don’t normally like guac but theirs is DELICIOSO okay!! My brother got the fajitas and it was good tooo and we also got the hamburger which was super big and we got fried also. He also got the salad I forgot which but it had some avocado in there and it was good he liked it.THIS IS THE SPOT!!!

The very best mexican food I’ve had. Spot on every time. Their red enchilada sauce is amazing!! I do miss however their extra hot salsa that was dark red. That stopped about 4 years ago.
