We had a great lunch. Wifey had taquitos and I had a combo plate, 2 tacos, and enchilada. Ground beef.

Small town venues just seem better. The food was very good. I ordered the burrito which was too much for one meal but guess what, I couldn’t stop eating it. The service was on que. Or waitress was very friendly and helpful. I think sheet actual enjoyed her job. The whole restaurant appreciated us coming in instead of treating us like we were a pain or inconvenience. Really like this place and we’ll continue to go back. I thought the prices were great as well

In a world full of Jose Peppers it is so nice when you can go somewhere that the food doesn’t taste like the local regional supplier. Mojitos has very good food and the service is great as well. Nice comfy setting with Mexican ambience, so much better than chain food. I don’t drink alcohol so I cannot attest to drink quality but I love the tea. Prices are reasonable as well.

My family and I stopped in for lunch today around 12:20–1:00 pm with a group of eight. The service was fast and friendly, and when the food arrived it was both fun and impressive. Everything tasted amazing. The chips and sauce were outstanding, and the guacamole was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Overall, the food was fantastic, and we will definitely be back.

Wow! What a nice surprise. Sorry I didn’t take a picture of the main course but it looked so good we jumped right in.
We drove down from Lee’s Summit to visit a favorite Mexican restaurant only to find them closed in the middle of the afternoon.
We spotted this gem on our way back to LS.
Once we stepped inside we were surprised how nice, bright, clean and big this place is. It was a mild afternoon so we ate outside on the covered patio.
The food was great! The chips were fresh and good despite being a tiny bit thicker than my preferred. The salsa was good as well. For the meal we shared 3 enchiladas, beans and rice. The presentation was good and the flavor was very good. The rice was the best I’ve had.
If that’s not enough, the service was perfect. Very friendly, fast and eager to provide a great experience.
We’ll definitely return!

I had an average experience at this restaurant. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t the best Mexican cuisine either. I got pollo fundido, with a hard taco on the side and my date got the pollo mojitos. The service was very fast and super friendly and the restaurant was well decorated and clean. However the food was pretty much average. My chicken didn’t seem to be seasoned and it didn’t have enough cheese sauce on top of it. The chips and salsa were alright, the salsa was just a little watery. Also my rice was mushy. The horchata tasted a little bit fruity but over all it was good. My hard taco was decent it just tasted like something I could make at home. My date really enjoyed his food he usually gets the Raymore special but he wanted to try something new. For a small town this is a decent restaurant there are just a few things to improve on.

The servers truly need to learn how to chit-chat. I know there might be a language barrier but teach & we shall learn. Lol The cheesecake chimi is Yummy but, NOT near as large as in the photo. Angel is a good man!

I came in this evening and ordered chicken fajitas no lettuce. No guacamole and shredded cheese on the side. When my order came it had lettuce on the plate and they dumped my side of shredded cheese onto my cooked fajitas. I tried to eat them but they were gross. Chicken was tough cut so thin and small. Veggies barely existent they are paper thin strips of bell peppers and onions. Honestly they were terrible. The only good thing was the queso and it was pretty watery. I doubt I will come back the food was subpar for the money. When I tried to explain my order was messed up the waiter walked away.
