Absolutely fantastic. The interior is decorated very nicely, you almost get the feeling of a Ramen bar down a Tokyo alley. The food is not only plated nicely, but also tastes amazing. Please don’t pass this place up for other national chains in the same neighborhood.

I read some reviews about how this place does not accommodate dietary restrictions for people. I have visited a couple of times and the staff were very accommodating to Muslim dietary needs. They pointed out all the non pork items and substituted other items to fit our needs. The staff were top tier. They have private booths that make dining out a great experience. This place has become my favorite place to take my family. I would like to thank the owner for this great establishment.

The shrimp & lobster tantan ramens were delicious. The broth was flavorful and the portions were huge. The combination fried rice was delicious as well. The prices were a steal! The service was top notch: quick, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We changed our order, and she was ready to comply. We would definitely come back for more!

Tiktok led us to another amazing memphis treasure that I am glad as a local I got to try. I love to try new things but I will admit that my stomach feels like it’s about to burst with how good the food is. And the price is well worth how much you get. Even my friends who seem to have bottomless pits for stomachs felt the food here was very filling and worth every bite. Definitely coming back when I crave a good Ramen or rice bowl!

Overall, the experience was average. The food did need more flavor. I ordered:
1. Gyoza – these had more of a fried crunchy texture than steamed and then seared. I prefer the latter. I also feel like the meat was missing some fresh ingredients to lighten the flavor profile. (3/5 )
2. Tonkotsu black – the broth should have been thicker for tonkotsu style. I also think it was missing the robust flavor profile I am accustomed to. (3.5/5 )
The server had the demeanor of not wanting to be there and that they don’t particularly enjoy their job. Other than that, they did complete all of the basic tasks expected of a server.

There was a 15 min wait, but we got seated within that time, so no complaints there. Our server was attentive, but didn’t pester us so we could enjoy our time. She was quite helpful in picking dishes.
We got the pork gyoza for an appetizer, which wasn’t really special, but good. Our waitress suggested the chicken curry to my boyfriend, and he wasn’t really impressed – said it was bland and lacked flavor compared to the Asian curries he’s had before. I got the tonkotsu black ramen, which I was really happy with.
The environment here is a bit lack luster and cramped, but it was a good place to get ramen, which is what I came for.
