Now let’s talk about the food — because it was unforgettable.
The Dal Makhni was rich, creamy, and slow-cooked to perfection. Every spoonful was buttery and full of deep, smoky flavors that lingered beautifully. It tasted exactly like the kind of dal that simmers for hours in a traditional kitchen.
The Aloo Gobi was equally impressive — perfectly spiced, with tender potatoes and cauliflower cooked just right. It had that authentic, rustic touch that only a true dhaba can deliver.
The real highlight for me was the Chicken Saag. The chicken was tender and juicy, swimming in a flavorful spinach gravy that was both comforting and indulgent. It paired so beautifully with the breads.
And speaking of breads — the Butter Naan was soft, fluffy, and brushed generously with butter, while the Garlic Naan had just the right amount of roasted garlic flavor, making every bite irresistible.
Every dish felt fresh, heartfelt, and made with love — not overly commercial, just pure authentic taste. This place truly captures the essence of Indian dhaba culture: simple setting, soulful food, and warm hospitality.
If you’re looking for food that satisfies not just your hunger but your heart, this dhaba is a must-visit. It’s not just a meal — it’s an experience that feels like home. ❤️♥️
So thankful I’m only 15 mins from some amazing Indian food.
The Dal Makhani was rich, creamy, and perfectly slow-cooked with that smoky dhaba taste. The Malai Kofta was soft and delicious, with a mildly sweet and flavorful gravy that paired beautifully with naan. The Butter Chicken was absolutely spot on buttery, well-balanced, and full of flavor without being overly sweet.
The naan was fresh, soft, and perfectly baked , ideal for scooping up all the gravies.
Overall, a very satisfying meal with comforting North Indian flavors. Definitely coming back to try more dishes!
Delicious!
We will definitely be back.
The service was top-notch, and the owner aunty and uncle were super warm and welcoming really made us feel at home.
Plenty of great options whether you’re vegetarian or not. And a special recommendation from me is that you must try mango lassi
Definitely planning to come back soon!❤️
The butter chicken is a must-try — rich, flavorful, and easily the star of the meal. The chicken tikka was also good, though not quite at the same level as the butter chicken . We also loved the dal makhani and rajma, so much so that we took some home for dinner. We also took Chicken Biriyani to go which was also very tasty.
Service was excellent and the owners were very friendly. We brought our dog along, expecting open seating like most dhabas, but this one doesn’t have a typical outdoor dining area. However, they do have a single table outside for those waiting, and they kindly accommodated us there without any hesitation. The service remained top-notch even outside.
They also sell Indian snacks and unique ice cream flavors, which we didn’t try this time but appreciated having the option.
While waiting for our friends, we took a short stroll behind the dhaba where there’s an RV park with a small water feature — clean, peaceful, and well-maintained.
You have to use paper plates and plastic ware which was not a problem for us, as long as the food is good we don’t care.
We’ll definitely be back! It’s about a 90-minute drive from Dallas, and absolutely worth it.
