The atmosphere feels like an exclusive private club with the right crowd. On a Thursday evening, the restaurant was full, yet it was quiet and calm enough to comfortably have conversations.
As always with Novikov’s restaurants, the food was at the highest level. I had salmon as my main course and Napoleon cake for dessert — absolutely delicious. Of course, there is also an excellent and extensive wine selection.
Our table of six was served by around six staff members, which reflects a truly premium level of service.
I highly recommend visiting this place both to enjoy the food and to experience its unique atmosphere. It is perfect for a romantic dinner, a business meeting, or a stylish club-style gathering.
Didn’t expect to be charged for bread here, but it was actually pretty good. Served with butter and flaky salt, plus balsamic vinegar and olive oil on the table for mixing. Tasty, but still feels a bit odd to pay for it.
Truffle Mushroom Pizza
Great crust. The cheese isn’t classic mozzarella—more like a firmer Fontina. The pizza itself is on the smaller side, but dipping the crust in balsamic vinegar was genuinely delicious.
Charbroiled Langoustine
Very, very expensive Flavor was nice, but there were only five pieces. Honestly, it was gone before I could really appreciate it.
Novikov Cigar Box
Came specifically for this dessert, and the experience alone is worth it. The server brings out a full “cigar box” and lets you pick your own. I expected it to look better than it tasted, but it was actually decent—and not overly sweet for a chocolate dessert.
Novikov Napoleon
Such a good deal. A massive Napoleon for $29—I thought it would be a small slice, but it was huge. Easily the best dessert on the table. Not too sweet, super flaky, though inevitably very messy to eat (is there any elegant way to eat a Napoleon?).
Tiramisu
Possibly the worst tiramisu I’ve ever had. Skip it. Way too much cream, cake instead of ladyfingers, and barely any coffee or alcohol flavor. You’re better off getting one from Eataly.
We originally considered the dessert platter but skipped it because it was $110. In hindsight, after ordering three desserts and spending almost $80 anyway, we probably should’ve just gone all in
The prix fixe menu was excellent—generous portions at a great price. The salmon tartare and grilled whole fish were both fresh and flavorful. Pasta, snake river farms 45 day dry aged rib-eye, Napoleon cake was delicious.,
On the downside, the service was slower than I expected. I had to ask several times for a drink or even for a plate, and it took quite a while before anything was brought over. With a restaurant of this caliber, I was hoping for more attentive service.
Overall, the food and desserts were impressive, but I’d love to see the service match the quality of the menu.
The food was beautifully presented, and really tasty. Everything I tried exceeded expectations.
Best tuna tartare ever! And a special shout-out to Elena at the bar — she was absolutely wonderful — professional, friendly, and made my visit extra special.
Thank you so much!
Will definitely be coming back! ❤️
The service was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. Our server made excellent recommendations, including a spot-on wine pairing that elevated the entire meal.
We kicked off the evening with some cocktails, which were crafted to perfection—balanced, flavorful, and a great way to set the tone for the night.
As for the food—every dish was a hit. We started with the beef carpaccio and tuna tartar topped with black caviar—both fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The scallops with broccolini and mashed potatoes were another highlight—delicately cooked, perfectly seasoned, and full of depth.
The lobster pasta didn’t quite reach the same level of perfection, but everything else more than made up for it.
For dessert, we tried both the Napoleon cake and the Pavlova, and honestly, it was the best decision we could’ve made. The Napoleon cake is out of this world—light, rich, and decadent, while the Pavlova added a refreshing and fruity contrast that paired wonderfully. Together, they made for a perfect ending to an already fantastic meal.
Novikov Beverly Hills is a place we’ll definitely return to. It’s rare to find a spot that combines ambiance, top-tier service, and high-caliber food so seamlessly. Highly recommended.
The drinks were great — well-crafted and beautifully presented. The food was served on time and tasted delicious, which made the evening smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere was amazing, especially with the live band playing — it added such a wonderful, romantic energy to the night.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great service, excellent drinks, and a memorable ambiance. We’re really glad we chose this place for our anniversary and will definitely be back.
