Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

If your going to charge $3.69 for medium fries you better give me more than a half empty sleeve. And you forgot the spicy ketchup . Every time I come to this location there is an issue with some part of my order.

Great food, great new management! It looked fresh on the outside and clean on the inside. I was greeted by the workers with a friendly smile. The manager Gustavo took our order which was nice to see rather than one of those managers that don’t help out and hide in the office. The food came out rather quickly for the place having only a three-member team at the time. The food was delicious. And I also ordered a malt which was just as equally delicious. Would definitely recommend making this to go to spot. When considering fast food places and compared to any other of this company’s locations, this one is now my favourite!!

We’ve tried this location many times. It has always been subpar. Tonight was quite possibly the worst, though. Not a single thing was correct. All burgers were supposed to be plain, and they all had mustard. The kids burger also had some green chilies. The wrappers even had stickers that said “plain”. Tried dabbing the mustard off the burgers so the kids could eat them, but the mustard flavor was too strong. And the wings were wrong, not what was ordered. $50 for a meal that is inedible. Definitely won’t be back and don’t recommend. Find something else if you’re hungry.

ZERO ⭐ if I could. I go here almost 1/2x a week because my job is down the road. This Monday and today I waited in line for over 10 mins. Monday I order a #1 and I asked for condiments and never got them, also waited more than 10 mins and my French fries all had burn pieces and hardly any fried.. Today 10/16/25 I ordered the Whataburger Jr double a size medium and the menu said $8.?? And something cents. When I went to pay it was almost $12!!!! I waited at the drive thru for maybe 15mins and once I got my food, my fries were half way full and my burger was sad and sloppy. I didn’t enjoy my meal. The only thing positive was my drink. I wish I could get a refund because It wasn’t good. After I finished my meal I feel like I got food poisoning. I think this Whataburger lost a customer who is here often and trying to by pass everything but today was the last straw.

I was served an undercooked burger that was cold, along with cold fries. This is very common at this location! Please consider the safety of your customers and food handling regulations. Employees are very friendly but I’d rather have bad service than a stomach virus

Whataburger’s food is pretty consistent no matter which location you go to, however, the service can vary. The location at Gilbert/Queen Creek Road is overall a good location. It’s always open, which is convenient if you work early mornings or late nights as not much else is open at those times in this area. Their food is generally pretty good except for the occasional undercooked or older food item. I think the green chili double cheeseburger and the chicken strips are very tasty if you’re looking for a food suggestion. The main issue with this location is speed of service and professionalism of the staff. I am not sure why, but this location in particular is VERY slow. Do not come here if you’re in a rush. I’ve waited more than 20 minutes for food on more than 3 trips, it is an issue. The staff are usually very kind and helpful, but sometimes they can be short or unprofessional. I also have seen an employee wearing gloves (at 2 separate visits) and not changing them through several transactions, touching money, debit cards, food items, drinks, and more with the exact same pair of gloves on. Gloves do not substitute good hand hygiene or food handling safety. That’s a health code violation in the making for sure. Apart from that, the staff seem to be trying their best and may be shorthanded which could explain the wait times and occasional short attitudes. Like I said above and overall, this is a good location with good food. I am grateful they are near and open 24/7 as I do work late nights occasionally.

Wow! $30 for two cheeseburgers and two medium fries??? Ridiculous I pay less money at In-N-Out Burger or at a restaurant. I guess Whataburger just lost all my business. I can’t afford it. The service is great, but I could tell you the food is not worth $30 for Two cheeseburgers and two medium onion rings where you get half the onion rings and they’ve been sitting around for the last hour just so disappointed I feel ripped off!

We hadn’t gone to a Whataburger in a long time so thought we’d try it again. We went through drive thru at 8:45pm. Only car in line. Ordering process took a long time as there was an issue with the computer that took a special code from the manager who wasn’t there. Sat and waited. Eventually got our food and went home. Burgers were cold. Fries were cold and very stale. Clearly the fries had been sitting there all night with no customers to cycle out fresh ones. Will not return. Waste of money and calories.

Order# 747843 just paid $30.25 for two whataburger jr meals with large drinks and several wrong things. Both were to be doubles but one was a single, both were supposed to have onion rings but one had fries. Both were ordered with grilled onions and both had raw onions.

Make sure to get the actual receipt. They attach the order summary only. Didn’t realize one of the orders were a single and not double patty so only letting them know we had ordered both with onion rings they said it would be a 10 minute additional wait.

This place was horrible the first six months months they opened which was new staff so understandable. They got it together and now for the last six months or more they have messed up orders as well as forgotten items and the young staff can careless. Sadly, the standard of service reflects poor management who either tries too hard to be a cool boss or the exact opposite and they so demanding the staff can careless. Whoever they lost after the first year of opening was obviously a HUGE mistake. Probably an assistant manager who did the majority of the work.

What can I say? I Love Whataburger and thier green Chile’s!!!

This location is new, fresh, clean and the employees are helpful. The service in the dinning room is pretty slow, they push the drive through first. That’s every fast food restaurants now days. Don’t let that stop you.

I would return. Go check them out and see what you think and let me know!! Gotta have the chillies!!!
