The chicken sandwich here is super good with a generous portion of crispy chicken. I’ve tried a few different entrées here and all were good. The pizza wasn’t my favorite in times past, just not my style of pizza. The BLT has thick very smokey bacon slices. Great service, clean, the market is fun to shop in when you’re done eating, the ice cream and dessert bar is really good. Outdoor patio seating available. Kid friendly dining. Usually some sort of fresh flower vase on the tables adding a nice touch.

We frequent Sioux Falls but had not previously discovered Look’s Market. I’ve seen Look’s Beer in Sioux Falls but didn’t know you could visit the brewery. We were impressed with all aspects of this place. The market was cool, the service was excellent and the food and beer were both great. The market had everything from a butcher shop to a bakery as well as beer to go. We sat at the bar and my wife had the Steak & Blue Salad and I had the Spicy Bacon Jam Burger. We enjoyed both. The Daisy Gazer and DDH Daisy Gazer were good but we really liked the Six Footers strong ale and Night of the Creepy Scaries peanut butter brown ale. My wife also purchased a strawberry croissant to go and said that it was amazing. We will definitely visit again.

The service was friendly, food came out pretty inconsistently to the table and the environment is very loud.
Hard to sit at a table with more than 4 people and be able to interact with each other and hear each other.
Everyone ordered their food at the same time but the food had huge gaps between when each meal was brought out. Both batches of onion rings for our group were over fried – not golden and crispy, but brown and hard with the breading immediately falling off with each first bite. Brick Motor City Pizza was very bland. It looks saucy and to the eye appealing, but the sauce doesn’t seem like it was cooked with the pizza, it didn’t sit on the pizza, it slid off when trying to eat, didn’t flavor the crust either. The Red Sauce had no flavor, meat was burnt and dry especially noticeable with the pepperonis. The Tom Bombs (Meatballs) had again the same type of bland red sauce with no seasoning, no flavor. Nothing special for the prices paid for either of these items. They look pretty and presentable but are not worth the price with their lack of flavor and taste.
Portion to Price ratio was exceptionally off as well. Food items are over priced.
Overall this is an Overwhelming environment with Underwhelming, overpriced food.
May be a good experience for someone who wants to stop by for a happy hour drink and appetizer at best.

We always have a great experience at Looks Marketplace. Every time we visit, the food and beer are consistently delicious.
On our most recent trip, we had the Oklahoma Smash Burger and the Forager Pizza, and both were excellent. The burger was flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the pizza had a great combination of ingredients that really stood out.
One of the highlights was the Strawberry IPA. The aroma is incredible; it smells exactly like a handful of fresh strawberries, but the flavor still delivers everything you would expect from a good IPA. It is a really well-balanced and unique beer.
This is one of our top recommendations whenever people ask us where they should go to eat. We have always enjoyed everything we have tried here, and we love everything this place has to offer.

We’ve eaten at Looks many times over the years so I decided to order something different than my usual this time and ordered the blue cheese and steak salad. It was $25 which I thought was a fair price considering the sirloin steak that was included. I guess a person should always be wary if the menu description doesn’t include how many ounces the steak is. Needless to say, the portion size of the sirloin was very small (see my photo, size of steak portion). Unfortunately my steak was also over done, was very dry and had absolutely no flavor (it was supposed to be medium well). I was really looking forward to the grilled bread that was served with the salad, but the bread just ended up being two plain grilled pieces of bread/baguette with nothing on them, except for the black grill marks, which tasted like char. It really would have added a lot of flavor if the bread was at least topped with some melted butter or olive oil. Adding a touch of garlic or herbs would have been great, too. Oh well. This salad was really just a boring bed of raw spinach with a couple of very thin sliced avocados pieces and some sliced sweet red peppers. I am a huge blue cheese fan so I did enjoy the generous amount of blue cheese sprinkled throughout the salad. Every one else at our table (12 of us) enjoyed their food, most ordered burgers and grilled sandwiches with french fries. The cheese curds were delicious, as always! Next time l’ll just stick to my usual, the Detroit Brick Motor City pizza. It’s always spot on!

A great little place for lunch! Their sandwiches are the best in town – especially the steak melt and delicata squash sandwich (with bacon!). I do wish it was more of a server-style location, instead of standing in line to order food. We usually choose to sit at the bar for actual service. It’d also be nice if it wasn’t always super cold in there! The market itself is very expensive, but they do have a wide selection of really neat items to choose from.

A 95th Birthday to Remember!

My Mom was the undeniable highlight of her 95th birthday celebration, but having catering from our absolute favorite place in Sioux Falls, Looks Market, made the day truly complete.

A huge thank you to Eric for being incredible to work with from planning to delivery.

The Menu:

Sandwich Bar: The breads were so fresh they actually arrived warm—perfection!

Soups & Sides: Delicious Tomato Basil and Chicken Noodle soups, plus their amazing roasted Brussels sprouts and garden salads.

The Special Touch: They went above and beyond by baking a special batch of molasses cookies just for my Mom (even though they aren’t making them this year!).

That kind of personal care is exactly why Looks is our favorite. Thank you for making Mom’s milestone so delicious and special!

This is another GO-TO in Sioux Falls! Great beers and amazing food!!!!

Our preference is to sit at the bar and enjoy conversation with others!!!!

Before you leave – visit the meat market and pick up some burgers or steaks for the road! The baker is amazing and the ice cream will keep you coming back for an amazing sweet treat!!!!

A local favorite for sure!!!!

Had the best jelly doughnut I’ve ever had from the bakery (could taste real fruit in it), and everything else we got was good. Family had fun sampling fancy cheeses and took some home. It’s a nice upscale market. Several items in the grocery are ridiculously upcharged, but the bakery is reasonable. Staff were friendly . The bathroom however was surprisingly gross like years of dirt on the floors gross….

It’s a neat atmosphere and it has an interesting vibe but I just didn’t feel the quality matched the price tag on a lot of the foods. I’ve heard so many people say they love Looks but it’s the second time we’ve gone and I wasn’t overly impressed either time. Yes, the food was fine but not fantastic as the price tag would lead you to believe. If you want beer, this is probably the place to go but if you want food, this might not be the best spot.

We stood in line for about 25 minutes before we could order and get a table so it’s busy if you’re going at a standard meal time. I think buying in the market there is a better deal than the restaurant.
