Fast, incredible fish & sauces, friendly! Got this rec’d by a friend and it did not disappoint! Loved the wasabi furikake & spicy ahi. I came around 1pm and it was quick but I bet it’s busier at peak lunchtime a they’re fast anyway though! I got the mini and it was so filling – perfect for lunch! Free parking across the street by safeway

DELICIOUS! Off the Hook has the best poke I’ve tried anywhere in Hawaii. We were first recommended this spot by our local friend a few years ago, and nowhere has managed to top the quality and flavor of the poke at Off the Hook. While all of the flavors I’ve tried have been utterly fantastic, the wasabi flavor I tried on my last visit was to die for! This place is a must visit if you’re in the neighborhood!

After a hike we found this poke place and it was just amazing, people here are so kind and full of Aloha, and the poke it’s really one of the best in Hawai’i, so fresh and delicious!

I got the regular with 2 choices and my favorite was the spicy ahi.

You are going to love this place

Really delicious poke! The Hawaiian style was excellent. My only complaint is that their is only a $2 difference between the mini ($17.99) and regular ($19.99). It seems like the price gap should be larger for nearly half the amount of food. I went ahead and ordered the regular because of this.

Off Da Hook Hawaii never misses. Every time we’re in town, this is one of the FIRST places we hit, and the quality keeps us coming back. The Kilauea Fire and Spicy are my absolute favorites — fresh, flavorful, and hands-down some of the best poke you’ll find anywhere in Hawaii.

We love it so much that on this trip we bought 9 pounds just so we didn’t have to drive back again. That should tell you everything.

Fresh fish, bold flavors, super friendly staff — this place is legit. If you’re in Honolulu and want real poke done right, Off Da Hook is a must.

Off the Hook Poke Market was easily the best poke I’ve had in all my visits to Hawaii! The quality of the fish was outstanding, and every flavor and sauce option was so fresh and delicious. The sushi rice was unlike anything I’ve ever had. I don’t know what they season it with, but it was unbelievably tasty. This place is an absolute must-try for poke lovers!

I had the ginger ahi poke bowl — it was amazing. The tempura flakes were a perfect touch and added great texture.

After hiking Manoa Falls Trail, we were hungry and saw a long line for poke and stopped here. I ordered both spicy tuna and regular ahi tuna, and unfortunately the tuna was slimy, chewy, and didn’t taste very fresh – not sure if this was from thawed frozen fish or made the day before. I also tried the garlic ahi separately because we were told it was popular, but all of them tasted overly salty. The garlic sauce tastes like a garlic green onion sauce that Chinese people make to dip plain chicken.

The octopus was probably the best part of the bowl – not amazing, but decent compared to the rest. The sushi rice was another downside – very heavy on the vinegar and completely overpowered the poke. Overall, the bowl just didn’t come together well, and the quality didn’t meet expectations for poke. Portions were fine, but freshness and balance were lacking especially given the price.

I went in the afternoon so there wasn’t much of a line! They were very efficient at the whole ordering process. I got half rice and half greens which is a dream. The poke was perfect, give this place a Michelin star. A must go! We were recommended this place form our waiter at Fete which was the best rec ever.

Came here after hiking Manoa Falls. You order and pickup from the little window. The workers are very nice and the food is very fresh. I don’t think it was tasty enough for me to want to come back.
