My friend was hoping to sample some wine in Santa Fe. Someone told us to try this establishment. As we arrived, I was super impressed with the front door (rustic wood, “castlesk”). The atmosphere was also very impressive. We were warmly greeted and given a sample of wine. We weren’t familiar with NM wines but did some quick google research to find out that the vineyards are apparently the oldest in the US. The reputation is very good as well. After a while Nick came by and continued our education in NM wines. He poured us a variety of samples and we were quite impressed. We only had dessert (chocolate tort) and loved it. So in summary, everything was great. We were most impressed with the service, then atmosphere and then food and wine. I noted that there were no vegan options on the menu but discussed it with Nick and he said he could have the chef make a vegan pasta dish. We’ll be back to give it a try. Overall, highly recommend this establishment!

Update. I went back two days later and had another spectacular experience. As promised, Nick was able to provide a great vegan pasta dish. Our server was Dacien (sp?) who was also great. This time it was a party of 3. Everyone was very impressed! More pictures included this time.

The ABSOLUTE best wine bar & restaurant in Santa Fe. If you’re looking for a beautiful personal atmosphere with delicious food and great drinks look no further than Hervé. I’m so glad I found this gem in Santa Fe, tucked away behind the beautiful iron gates off of the plaza. Its location is perfect and once you step through the gates you’re transported to wine country.
The service is outstanding. I hosted a private party with the planning help of Isaiah and Victor, and they couldn’t be nicer, more accommodating or helpful. Isaiah is a professional when it comes to event planning. Victor is the nicest restaurant manager, and the most helpful, down-to-earth kind of guy that goes above and beyond. The beautiful private room they offer is the perfect setting for any event. I can’t wait to host another party at Hervé and I know my guests will also be hosting future events there as well.
You’ll regret not coming here, and I can’t wait to go back.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is absolutely stunning! warm, inviting, and full of great energy. The food is incredible, the wine is perfection, and the service is truly unmatched.

Victor, deserves special recognition. He is unbelievably consistent and always on top of everything. He visits every table, makes sure every guest is taken care of, and you can genuinely feel how much he loves what he does.

And the manager, Nick, is just as exceptional. He runs the floor flawlessly, keeps everything running smoothly, and always makes you feel welcomed and taken care of. You can tell he puts real heart into his work.

The waitresses follow their lead are, kind, and perfect in every detail.

I couldn’t ask for a better experience. This has become my favorite place to go, and it never disappoints. Highly, highly recommend.

I had the meatloaf and the Limited flight. Both were excellent and a wonderful introduction to New Mexico wines. My server Leslie was attentive, friendly, and excellent. Samantha the manager also came over to provide some more background on the wines and winery and to check in which was a pleasant surprise.

Prices were very reasonable and good portion sizes. Overall I would highly recommend you stop by if you’re in Santa Fe!

Great experience! Victor, the general manager, was the perfect host welcoming us at the door and even trated us to an incredible appetizer of mussels that the chef was exploring adding to the menu. Victor and our waitress were attentive throughout.
We were definitely impressed by the place, tbe dining experience, bur especially the service.
One thing I would recommend is to manage the lighting diffrrently. We were there in the evening and the lights were starkly bright. A more subdued lighting should be contemplated at night for a more cozy atmosphere. Patrons will tend to linger longer in a warm light setting.

This was a lucky find in Santa Fe!
Great vibe, tasty food options, and the wine was excellent. Leslie was our server and she was incredible!! Friendly, welcoming, attentive..!

The restaurant is an easy walk from the La Fonda Hotel. No reservation was needed at 8 pm when we arrived.

We were searching Google Maps for a decent restaurant for a spur of the moment dinner. Started walking to our restaurant of choice but peeked into The Herve Wine Bar. We stayed and are glad we did. Prices were reasonable and food selection, although not extensive, it was diverse.

Hope you enjoy your experience as much as we did.

Nick was absolutely amazing! Even though the place was busy and short-staffed, he handled everything flawlessly and kept such a great attitude the entire time. We truly appreciated his kindness, professionalism, and positive energy. He went above and beyond and honestly made our day—and my bachelorette—so perfect. Thank you, Nick, for such an incredible experience!

Hattie was our server and she was great at offering recommendations. Everything we ate was good, and there’s plenty of variety in the wines. You must get Crème brûlée, cheesecake or chocolate torte for dessert.

Definitely a must do if you’re in Santa Fe! Les Combes winery is the largest winery in New Mexico. Their wines are incredible. Honorable mention to the limited release Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, and the Malbec. Every wine I had was exceptional and the atmosphere was cool, comfortable, with all of the best tunes.

Angel made the experience as memorable as it was. He was so helpful, sweet, and knowledgeable. He is such an asset to this place. I’m so glad I got to experience his hospitality because it certainly made my trip!
