This is by far the best Italian restaurant in Nevada in terms of food taste. The calzone and pasta are beyond flavorful, we had two different pastas with chicken and shrimp and they were both excellent and made to perfection. The purple hair goddess server was extremely nice and good. The place is cozy and cute. I was honestly shocked by the quality and taste of the food. If I ever visit anywhere near this town I am coming back for this amazing food. Thank you for your great service.

Really impressed. Bre my server was busy as all get out yet, everything I ordered came out fast. As I finished the salad, the entree showed up. Nice job ma’am.
Spaghetti with meatballs was a good solid traditional Italian meal. Spaghetti cooked perfectly. Sauce, rich and traditional. Meatballs, solid flavorful meat.

First thing – the smell of the food ensures a delicious meal! Everyone is really welcoming, and the place looks relaxed (but nice). We had pizza and pasta – delicious! Kid friendly. Definite winner for dinner!

We went for dinner, not really expecting much for the small town of Pahrump, but everything was excellent! My husband and I split the Bruschetta, the Anti-pasta, and the Lasagna. We loved it all! I saw pizza on a couple of tables, and it looked really good.

I came in to get a 50 dollar gift certificate for my son and his wife. This is the first time in my life I’ve ever been charged almost 6 dollars (5.55 to be exact) to get a gift certificate to a restaurant. As a matter of fact, instead of getting more for other family members, I got $100 gift certificates from Casa Di Amore in Las Vegas. They didn’t charge a fee, and gave me an additional for $20 each one. As I stood there waiting to pay, I was also close enough to see the kitchen. In the past I’ve eaten there several times, bringing in parties of 4-6 people. Never again. I’d rather make the drive to Vegas.
Please feel free to see that I do not have a habit of leaving bad reviews. This is a terrible policy/fee.

That is also an over 10% fee, which is ludicrous. The response actually further solidifies my original review.

Arrived to a full house. Only 1 wait person working and she’s running around like crazy. Has a glass of the house merit and surprisingly it was really good. The food was really tasty but of course I forgot to take pics because I was so hungry . Managed to take a pic of dessert

Real NY Italian! Had a wonderful meal and great low key service. Mozzarella sticks shrimp fettuccine and chicken marsala all great tasting. House balsamic was just the right note without the bite one sometimes gets. Can’t wait to go back

Don’t let the four star-rating fool you, Carmelo’s, is top-notch at a small town price. For me to give that fifth star you dam near have to hold me at gun point or sweep me off my feet with that wow factor. Nevertheless, if you’re passing through Pahrump, Nevada, and have that hankering for good ol’e, down home Italian, this is the place locals should prefer. Located on 372, a block from State Highway 160, it certainly is convenient. They use good cheese, great sauce, big smiles, and a whole lotta respect for their customers. Enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer. And they are child friendly, so ladies, bring your adult child and your youngens as well. If you’re sporting some hot wheels such as a wheelchair tables are accessible but the parking lot has no blue lines or any color. All in all, Carmelo’s is the place to eat and greet. Tell them Grumpy Grandpa referred you and enjoy…. I did. Grumpy Grandpa.
