The burgers had fresh crisp toppings but there was gristle in the burger patties. The fries and slaw were terrible. The fries have a strong frozen potato taste and the slaw had such a strong vinegar flavor I was worried it was spoiled. However, the fish tail sandwich was big and tasty.
The friendly and helpful service, mini golf, and ice cream is where they shine.
The apple dumpling sundae was beautiful and delicious.
The mini golf course was the nicest one I have seen in years.
The bathrooms were well stocked and clean.
We would enjoy coming again for ice cream and golf but skip the regular food.

This place has long been loved by locals and visitors alike. Great food, clean, plenty of outdoor seating & large menu. The mini-golf is like something you would find at a vacation destination. Buckeye Dairy Bar is a true local gem!

Mine and my husband’s friend is co owner of the Buckeye Dairy Bar. I am honest about this, their food and drinks are so good. They do fishbowl wings there and those are really good. I’ve loved everything that we’ve had from there. The area is beautiful also.

My husband and I went for a date day and we are so glad we chose this place! Went just for the mini golf but couldn’t leave without trying the food and a dessert. We got the Dumpling and Pumpkin Roll Sundaes!!! You have to try these they are delicious!!! The owners even made sure to talk to us and ask us how everything was. We will definitely be back!!!

I’ll be honest it breaks my heart to leave this review but the new owners have ruined this place. Can’t even get them to answer their phones anymore. Used to order dinner from here multiple times a week and since the new owners took over they barely answer the phone. Can’t even count now how many different days I’ve called and it rings through. Even today. Do better. Miss the previous owner.

This place has went downhill when the new owners took over they added a bunch of great items to the menu and everything was great until around august. When you call they never answer and they will turn off the online ordering sometimes so your not able to place any orders and it’s not due to them being busy cause I tried placing an online order but it was turned off so I tried calling multiple times and they never answered so I went there in person and there was only one other person there and the staff was goofing off in the back not even working. I’ve also had issues with them keeping some of my money, I placed a order online and my husband and son picked it up and they didn’t have some of the items ordered and was supposed to give back the money for the items but didn’t give back all of it they kept over a $1 and that has happened more than once and they also never have anything there always out of most of the ice cream flavors and food items and they constantly get orders wrong I ordered a sub that is supposed to have salami ham pepperonis etc and they didn’t put the salami or ham on it and I was charged over $10 for it cause I added bacon to it and it tasted bad like it was spoiled or something. I think the issue is they have kids running the place which wasn’t an issue for the previous owners I know they also had kids working there but I think they had at least one adult working at the same time where as it seems it’s just all kids and no adults working there now and I’m starting to think the manager might even be a kid and doesn’t know how to put orders in for items when there running low or when they run out and I noticed there not as busy as they used to be and don’t get as much business so apparently I’m not the only one that’s stopped eating there. I don’t see this place lasting much longer if they continue to run it the way they are. Oh and I wouldn’t recommend ordering a large milkshake or ice cream in a cup cause your just paying more for less. Every time I order a large I receive it in a medium sized cup that’s less than half. They didn’t use to be like that when they first reopened after the new owners took over but around august when they started having all the issues I mentioned is when they also changed the cup sizes for milkshake and ice creams they no longer give them in the large cups they’re now placed in smaller medium sized cups yet the price has stayed the same.

I am highly allergic to onion. I asked for a salad. No onions. I told them I was highly allergic to them. Also got cheese curds. My salad had onion and my cheese curds were so over cooks there was no cheese left in them. I called to let them know about the onions and their reply was that they don’t use onions. So why was their onions in my salad??

We were sad that the pizza recipe changed this year when we got pizza this past weekend. It is now the thin floppy greasy Giovanni’s type pizza. It was still pretty good, but just not nearly as good as how it was when we got it last time about 6 months ago.
