We came in as a family of four, and despite it being fairly quiet (probably because they’re still new on the scene), the energy inside was peaceful, polished, and perfect for a chill weekend meal. The atmosphere strikes that rare balance; classy but not stuffy, relaxed but still thoughtfully designed. Whether you’re rolling in solo, on a brunch date, or with a whole crew, this place fits the vibe.
Now the food…wow!!! The menu is a chef’s kiss; diverse without being overwhelming, and crafted to meet a wide range of tastes and dietary needs. Between the four of us, we ordered four entrées, a kid’s meal, two drinks for the little ones, a creative mocktail, and a refreshing adult beverage. All in? Around $120. And every bite was worth it.
But the true MVP of the meal? Shannon, our server. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely excited about the food, which made her recommendations feel less like a sales pitch and more like insider tips from a foodie friend. You could tell she cared, and that level of service stuck with us.
Prime Time isn’t just another brunch spot…it’s an experience. Quiet for now, but trust me, once word gets out, this place won’t stay under the radar for long. Already planning our next visit.

Everything were so clean and the employee and chef were so nice
They have the parking at the hotel garage and they give you a free parking pass
That evening they were offering a special pasta night menu at a lower price point. When we asked our server for his recommendation between the regular entrée menu and the special, he mentioned he wouldn’t really order from the special because it was “cheap.” I understand guiding guests toward certain dishes, but the wording felt dismissive and unnecessary, especially since it was something the restaurant was actively promoting that night.
He was attentive with timing, but the interactions lacked warmth. When we asked if he could take a quick photo for us to capture the birthday moment, he preferred to get someone else, which added to the feeling that the service wasn’t very personable.
The restaurant itself is lovely, but I hope in the future the service matches the quality of the food and atmosphere.
Our server, DJ, was attentive and friendly, ensuring a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. Highly recommend Primetime—we can’t wait to return soon!
We were most confused by the parking, which is behind the Cambria Hotel. But it all worked out once you do the online thing on the phone. I guess they have license plate readers or something.
Anyway, it was a lively room we walked into. I guess there had been a game or some Univ of Maryland thing that brought the crowds. Once they all left it did get a bit quieter but not so quiet that we could speak in hushed voices and understand each other.
The food was okay. It was fine.
I’m not going to complain about the price because the prices are on the menu and they should not be a surprise to anyone who can do math or use a calculator and add tax and a 20% tip. Decent steak is not cheap. And the steak was decent. I wasn’t blown away. It was fine.
The meatloaf, however, that was a generous plate. Enough for leftovers.
The service was decent and accommodating. No one made me feel bad about what I did and didn’t order. No hard sell of any of the specials. When my water glass got empty only a minute or two passed before it was filled again.
Overall, it was fine. I was curious about the place, as I am with several Rt 1 College Park eateries, and that curiosity has been satisfied. Would I go again? Probably not, unless invited to join someone there.
