Love it. We were in the area for 4 days and ended up having lunch here 3 times. Awesome ribs, awesome wings. We had the garlic butter and garlic parm wings. Sandwiches are great too. Be sure to get them with garlic bread.

Everytime we around we bounce back for bountiful bunches of buffalo wings and BBQ ribs! As soon as the plates came out the family blacked out and began to scarf down the food only leftovers were around for photos.

Grill cheese with fries
Buffalo wings Buffalo sauce
Pulled pork sandwich with fries

We have lived in Florida for 5 years and this place was just down the road and we never stopped. It looks like a hole in the wall but remember hole in walls usually are hidden gems. A friend had told us about this place so we gave it a try and we’re glad we did. The portions are large and the food is delicious. They are building a new restaurant behind the original. So if your cruising through Fanning Springs give it a try.

I got ribs with a 1/4lb side of brisket. Ribs were pretty good without sauce. Brisket was okay. The portions were healthy and the price was good. Service was good as well. I recommend this BBQ.

The building is not much to look at, but the food is great. The brisket sandwich and coleslaw were great! There are a lot of other items on the menu I would like to try. The staff is super friendly and nice.

02/ 23/2026 – I have now eaten here 3 times so farand love the fresh bread with barbecue and baked beans. Yesterday I brought my friends. She had a barbecue pork sandwich with coleslaw. He had ribs, French fries and barbecue beans. We all agreed the food was delicious. I noticed a new building is under construction behind the old place built-in 1955. We look forward to dining in the new location. We will return!

My son and I stopped in for lunch. Lived here 2 years now and figured we’d try it. I had the brisket sandwich and he had ribs. All the food was delicious. Seating area has definitely seen better days. But they are building a new restaurant behind it. Great BBQ. The 2 ladies were very nice!!!

The best BBQ is served in family businesses! The important part is the smoker for the smokin meats!! This is a delicious choice if you like tender BBQ with sauce on the side served in a casual atmosphere. (New building built very soon). Great unique sides & desserts. Menu online. Great pulled pork and brisket, chicken, onion straws, baked beans, sweet potato fries, broccoli (ask for bacon and cheese toppings!), slaw, french fries, etc!! Pies! Servings are plentiful. Order at the counter, seating available to eat in or takeout available. Very nice, friendly, owners and helpful staff!! We will return!!

This place had the best BBQ. HUGE served on texas toast. I was stuffed and I’m a pretty good sized fellow. Sure was good eating. Oh they had like 9 different kinds of pie. It’s an old old building that’s been added on to. Kinda run down looking… Boy some good BBQ tho.

How to turn good meat into poor BBQ

I was a certified BBQ judge for over 20 years in fl. I never try to judge restaurant BBQ as I would competition BBQ.

The simplest thing to begin with is look at the picture of the brisket. In all my BBQ meals all over as well as contests Ive never seen brisket served sliced this thin. This isnt a deli serving a brisket sandwich. This never should have been placed on a plate to be served. Did we tell them and ask them to replace it. No why would we this is what they served as acceptable BBQ. Dry, machine sliced, can you see a smoke ring.
.Me neither…
Shameful BBQ brisket.

The corn nuggets are fine. Straight out the a bag as the sweet potatoe fries weren’t crispy

The ribs have the same lackadaisical touch of smoke I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that the smoke ring wasn’t caused by chemicals but actually smoking the ribs in a smoker but if you’re looking for any smoke flavor look again.

They were also overcooked they required no pull to get them off the bone. I would never expect them to be made cooked order that would be silly but at least coming to the table warm would be nice.

The beans were good they did have some meat in them ill give them credit for that.. I don’t know if the slaw is made in house but it was good also.

The Brunswick stew I’ve had in Brunswick Georgia typically is a little redder and thicker. But it was ok

The garlic toast… Why can’t you cook both sides?

As other reviews have mentioned the seating capacity is limited so just be aware.

The pic of the brisket in separate box is 20 hours later from my favourite BBQ place in port at Lucie. The difference between crap from last night and what real BBQ should look like is obvious
