Was looking for a small spot to grab food and a few drinks with colleagues, & found this spot on Maps. We loved it!! It’s nestled between a tattoo shop and smoke shop, & I believe it has an outdoor patio, too. Food was delicious, especially for “bar food.” Drink options are limited, but they have liquor to mix whatever if you’re not a fan of the beer selection offered. Only downside is that table service stops at a set time (I think it was 10pm, but not positive). We were not aware of that, but it wasn’t a big issue. We just made 2 steps to the bar to order more rounds.

Not the place for me…
I would guess this is a good place if you are someone from the neighborhood or a regular but it was not friendly and the service was bad. The food was OK, but i expected some English pub type food, but it was just the same type of sandwichs prepared differently. The service was bad. I ordered my food and had pay for it right there just like at a Burger King. They dropped the food on the table and left. Nobody ever checked back to see if it was made correctly or if I needed anything.
So many other places with better service and food – definitely a hard pass on a return visit…

Locals love this place! It’s smoke free inside ! All different kinds of beer on draft or bottle. They have pool, several REAL dart boards, pool, horse shoes, cornhole, golden tee and more. Great patio to chill at with friends! This local bar has been around for years and is a great place to spend time with friends!

Went about 130 am on Saturday: we left downtown bc we wanted a chiller vibe. This was not the place. While granted they weren’t busy or packed, the service was aweful. We got one round of drinks and went to sit outside. They announced after awhile that last call would be at 230. Which made sense bc they close at 3. So we went in for our last round 15 till last call. We were standing at the computer. No one would talk to us. Just kept talking to each other and customers that already had drinks. Tried to get attention a few times and was ignored. Gm finally got served at 240, our round of three drinks was 20 even. Handed him the cash. Went down to get our drinks. And he asked me why I didn’t set down a cash tip and the snarkily added “oh it’s fine I like working for free”… I let him know that I had left a 20 on our first round… so over all a 50 percent tip for the night. He rolled his eyes and said whatever. So we went back outside and they announced. “Last call is over. We were being nice by allowing extra orders but no more” we were inside trying to order well before last call. That wasn’t an extended favor we were offered. He then said everyone needed to be out in five minutes as they were closing, they are supposed to close at three. So we continue to play cornhole and try to finish our drinks and then he came back over the speakers and said you know what. Three minutes sounds better than five. Everyone needs to leave. I’ve never had this kind of experience in Knoxville and it was a really sucky end to the night honestly

Union Jack’s is a fantastic place to sit down with your friends, have a beer and a bite. The food is delicious and the beer selection is massive. The bratwurst I had was piled high with Kraut and their bacon Mac is stellar. Easy 5 star.

On the plus side, they’ve got a brilliant selection of beers, domestic and import. The back patio is outstanding and the interior of the bar/pub very spacious and lots of choice. In the downside is the food quality- it’s basically a sandwich menu, which is varied styles and states of mostly hot dogs. They desperately need fish & chips!! Great wait staff and many tv selections will get me back there again.
