We went to the UGA basketball game and googled a place to grab some wings, and Three Buddies looked to be a solid option.
I loved our experience from beginning to end.
Food was ready quickly. The service was absolutely exceptional (shout out to the manager KJ, who went above and beyond to make it a great visit). Portions were great. Price was fair. Food tasted delicious.
Another thing I noticed (as someone who eats out frequently) is the quality of their products… the napkins, cups, to go containers, condiments, heck, even the plastic bags… it’s all high quality.
Nearly every restaurant goes cheap on a lot of such things… but Three Buddies didn’t.
My kids even said, “They have the GOOD ICE here.”

When we visit Athens again, Three Buddies is now in our rotation. Go support them and try their food… especially the lemon pepper wings!

Today I tried the Cajun Chicken Sandwich and fries as well as the Thai Basil Fried Rice with a 6pc Jamaican Jerk Wings ( the former is not pictured because it was devoured lol). Everything was very flavorful. Easy on the jerk if you’re not keen on spice. Everyone who worked there was pleasant and made sure the experience there was a great one. Highly recommend, I will be going back.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience here at then Athens location! From start to finish, the customer service was top-notch, every staff member was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The young lady at the register was especially incredible, taking her time to walk us through the menu and make sure all of our needs were met.
The drink selection is fantastic (I was especially excited to see Cheerwine!), and the outdoor space is just beautiful. It was such a treat to bring our dog, sit outside, and enjoy the music and great atmosphere.
The food was beyond delicious, we ordered fried pickles, a burger, and wings, and everything was cooked perfectly.
What makes this place even more special is the way they treat people. Our son has been telling us about this restaurant since it first opened. He and his friends would come here after track practice, and he always talked about how kind the owner (I believe) was to them, even offering them food. That level of respect and kindness toward teenagers is rare and so appreciated. No wonder he’s been a loyal fan ever since.
Tonight, we finally joined him for a family dinner, and we were blown away. Between the amazing food, the outstanding staff, and the welcoming atmosphere, we will definitely be regulars. Five stars all the way!

Burgers were excellent. Onion rings were excellent. Very nice staff. Fun swings to sit on while eating. Will be back .

I stumbled across this hidden gem in Athens GA today and was very pleased of the menu along with the pricing. I wasn’t sure what to get some I ordered two appetizers the mozz sticks and corn ribs. Both tasted great and filled me up before my main meal was served. I ordered the signature burger as well. My oh my this burger was huge and came with all the fixings from lettuce tomatoes pickles onion mushrooms BEEF bacon!! Along with their signature burger sauce. Definitely a must try. I will order again but I’ll go with two patties instead of three next time.

Just got done at the UGA game and we were all wanting some good game day food. This little gem popped up as being a half mile away. Took the chance and did not regret it. Service was excellent. Their game day menu had a little of everything on it. 4 of us and we all got different things. Portions were hefty. Food tasted fresh to order. And price worked out to $11 a person including the gratuity that was added in. Will definitely be going back our next trip.

The owner was host, welcoming us as though we were at their home. The staff is friendly and warm, they patiently explained their diverse menu options. They acted like they enjoyed our visit as much as we did. We’ll go back for the people as much as for the food
