Amazing juicy smash burgers! We tried the bison one. The meet was very tender. I love homemade buns they use. The menu is very simple and Ryan takes his time to make you a perfect burger. He also uses beef tallow for the fries which is a rare case nowadays. A must have if driving through Thompson Falls. They should open all across Montana!

Main St Burger – A Tasty Stop
We had a great experience at Main St Burger. I ordered the elk smash burger, which was absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. My daughter went with the regular burger and my son had the grilled cheese. I’m not sure if they make their bread in-house, but it sure tasted like it—fresh, soft, and full of flavor!
Despite my daughter initially saying she didn’t like it, she quickly followed it up with “but I love it!” Both kids finished their sandwiches with big smiles, which says it all.
The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, even remembering our names and sending us off with warm wishes.
It’s that kind of thoughtful touch that really makes a place stand out.
There was plenty of seating, which was great, though shade was a bit limited—something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during the heat of the day.
All in all, a great meal in a friendly spot. We’ll definitely be back!

Best (Bison) Burger I ever had! Locally sourced meats and bread flour. The buns are made in house and are delicious! Also the steak fries fried in beef tallow are delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough!!

These are the best burgers I’ve ever had! So fresh and delicious. It’s all local elk, bison and beef and the hot owner bakes all the buns himself. Do yourself a favor and go if you’re ever in Thompson falls. It’s a must. Highly recommend!

They were late to open and unloaded what appeared to be home made buns just sitting in free air (no packaging or covering) out of the back of a dirty suv while I was parked waiting for them to open/ looking for somewhere else to go.

What an absolute treat. We had the pastrami sandwiches which were warm and cooked to perfection and wonderful fries. The buns are fantastic and the service was warm and friendly. Definitely worth a drive out here.

The burgers and fries are EXCELLENT. Yes, I shouted the word “excellent”. They are over an hour from my house and I hate to drive but have been craving their food so much that I’ve found new motivation to head to Thompson Falls for more than just my annual trip to pay truck registration.
