Established in 1982, D’s Down Home BBQ is Stillwater’s hidden gem. D’s started out catering to locals and in 2017 transformed into a food truck. Bobby Douglas has been perfecting his pit master craft since he was 14 years old. A former Oklahoma State football player, Bobby understands the love of college sports in Stillwater. Let us enhance the experience with some fall off the bone ribs or D’s signature smoked bologna. We thank you for your time!

This is real good, real home cooked FOOD, not something out of a container. They chopped up the brisket fresh for my sandwich and there was plenty of it! Delicious, so glad I took a chance and tried it.

Sliced brisket on a sandwich was great. Solid takeaway spot for a lunch if you’re busy. Meat was juicy, bread was alright.

They make some fantastic brisket and baked beans. Definitely recommend this place over Rib Crib for some amazing BBQ. Will be back

This is hands down the #1 Brisket place i have ever been to, and I’ve been to almost 100 bbq places accross.the US, no joke. Noone has ever been able to come nearly as close as the perfection they have when it comes to Brisket. I wish I had some good pictures but they were on a phone that broke.
I travel all over and I stop at bbq places everywhere, including 3 others in stillwell and several in ok city. Noone is as good as d’s down home.
This place is my number 1 Brisket place of all the states I’ve visited. Only one place in south Carolina can come as close to bbq perfection as d’s down home. I should add the sides were incredible too. The Brisket just overshadows everything because it’s absolutely perfect.
They really should get more recognition because the time, love, and patience they put into their food is unmatched.
I wish this place was closer to me because I have been talking about them for a very long time. We even went back the next day just to make sure we weren’t wrong. And day 2 the food was just as perfect as day 1.
My buddy richie agrees that this is the number 1 place we visited while in Oklahoma and beats every other place on the entire east coast with exception to 1 (lone star bbq, sc)
Thank you guys for making something so good that I would travel 1,397 miles out of my way just to go there!!!!
I can’t wait to get back there

Best BBQ West of the Mississippi!
Robert took quick care of us! We sat down after ordering and had to almost get right back up to grab our order. I had a Pork Loin sandwich while my son delved into his Sausage sandwich. You might have heard our “Nom!!! Nom!!! Nom!!!” from 6th Street! Lol We’ve eaten a lot of BBQ, and this place has it ALL going on!
For those that prefer a sweeter baked beans, they have those, too. I’ve added a picture of their menu, to help!
We will be frequent foodies here!

Sat outside for a quick lunch. Ordered sliced brisket sandwich and it was perfect! Juicy, great smokey flavor, seasoned to enhance the natural meat flavor. Will definitely come back!

I saw this place when taking my dog to dog park. I’m glad I did. The food was so down home. The potato salad reminded me how my mom made hers. Loved the baked beans.
Never had smoked bologna before. So much flavor. Reminded me of fried bologna. Brisket yum. I love when meat is so tender and flavorful you don’t need to add bbq sauce. This will be a to go every time I’m in town.

Absolutely incredible! The sides were delicious, as well as the meats. Cole slaw was just right amount of everything with a bit of extra pepper. The sauce was perfect especially on the brisket and ribs. Two OHP officers came by while we were eating- so you know it’s good! (We found the pork a bit dry but everything else was truly exceptional)

I went to D’s on there opening day and had there sliced brisket sandwich. It was great! There side of coleslaw was great. I have since went back and had the ribs. They were the best ribs I have ever had. That night I had there sweet potato pie and it was fabulous. I have yet to be disappointed in D’s I am excited to have this as a new place. Bobby and RC have been great. I didn’t now know them before there opening and they instantly became a name I remember. Good down the earth people.

I went on a Wednesday around 3PM and purchased a pound of sliced brisket and a half rack of ribs with beans and potato salad. They did not have any cole slaw. I posted a photo of my order that looks appetizing. I really wanted to like it because I get southern BBQ just once a year, maybe. Regretfully, did not really enjoy this. Last year I tried Rib Crib about a mile away and didn’t like it either so maybe my tastes have changed.
