Fantastic experience. Very friendly and helpful staff, amazing attitude, looked like a family operated grill to me. The food was lovely and very fresh. If I was passing by Coos Bay, I would make a point of stopping here. I was really impressed with everything and one day, I hope to be lucky enough to visit again. We (my wife and I)moved to Coosbay a year ago and we have tried, I believe all the Mexican restaurants in the area. Margaritas is by far the best. For the spice and flavor. Jimmy and Nick make us feel and home here. Every once in a while, we try a different place just to make sure the last time we tried there wasn’t a off day for the staff or what ever the reason we didn’t care for it..But we always come back to Margaritas. So if you’re looking for a good Mexican restaurant, this is it. We’ve NEVER had bad food or service. Camarones a diablo is the best!!!!

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten at on the coast!!! Excellent, friendly service.. my meal was fresh and layered with flavor.. perfectly made margaritas!! I had the tacos al carbon. I’m looking forward to trying other dishes on my next trip to the area!

Beautiful restaurant inside filled with color, booths are clean. Maybe I should have ordered something differently and read the menu better. I had the super burrito, and it sucked. It was filled with rice and beans and a side of rice beans on the plate. It’s was too much. Bland rice. Service took a while for us to order. Felt like we were forgotten in the corner of the restaurant.

The food is bland and overpriced. I had to douse everything in hot sauce just to get some flavor. The seafood soup tasted like a can of Campbell’s tomato soup with frozen overcooked Shrimp and scallops. The staff was friendly And the restaurant atmosphere was cool but I can’t say I’ll be coming back.
