I came to the Gibson Mill and this place caught my attention. I ordered the al pastor and the steak chimichurri tacos and they were delicious, especially the al pastor are incredible. I also ordered nachos to share and they came with lettuce, tomatoes, beans, queso and shredded chicken. Delicious. They also have Mexican Coke!

One of my friends told me to check out Gibson Mill and we stumbled into Taco Street. Ironically, we were there on a Tuesday and chose the $10 special which included two tacos (chicken, steak or one of each) and a side of nachos w/ salsa.
I also decided to try to Bizcochitos which is a like a fried pastry filled with Guava and a stretchy sweet cheese. I wish it came with a chocolate or caramel dipping sauce, but it was still a nice dessert.
If you’re in the area, this is worth a try.

Good food! Nice variety with street bowls (Cuban, Mexican, Carribean) all types of tacos, tamales, beef turnovers called Pastelitos, birra fries, and Walking Nachos. I had a popular street food sandwich made by dipping Telera bread in a flavourful guajillo pepper salsa and crisped to perfection traditional with potatoes and chorizo, refried beans, lettuce, salsa Verde, Queso fresco and Mexican crema. It’s definitely good authentic food that you want to try out! Located in the Gibson Mills food court in Concord, NC.

Taco Street is a great spot for a quick meal. The food is always made to order, and the service is excellent—everyone is friendly and welcoming. I didn’t give 5 stars mainly because the prices are a bit high compared to other places where I can get more food for less, and with a more authentic touch. But aside from the price, it’s definitely worth a try!

Churros and Horchata 10/10. 2/$6 that comes with a dipping sauce and it’s fried to perfection. Horchata is not overly sweet either. It has the perfect amount of sweetness so you can taste the cinnamon also.

Wanted to try a local Mexican food truck but it was closed today so I ended up here. Needless to say it was a disappointing experience. Can someone explain why u would drench french fries in sauce to the point where they are a soggy mess? Yes birria is a soup but at least make sure the fries are crispy!! And on top of that, why is there no flavor in the Birria?? These fires were a hot mess. I also got the corn which was a mistake. Why was is so warm? It was truly gross. Nothing here tastes fresh, corn straight from the can, birria from Aldi and fries straight from the bag. Highly disappointed. $40 for this is embarrassing. Go to Azul near uptown for real Mexican food!

The place is beautiful, but the tacos were terrible. Sorry, but they made me feel uneasy. Not sick like food poisoning, but more like, ‘Why did I waste my money?’ I ended up getting a BBQ chicken sandwich from the spot next door. Geez, that taco was really bad.

Service was terrible, cashier didn’t even pay attention to the fact that a customer was standing right in front of her, where there was time to walk away order a drink elsewhere then return for her to be on a personal phone call. Placed order and she gave a order buzzer that wasnt set up and never went off and the food sat long enough that it wasn’t even hot anymore when we went to see what was taking so long.
