The lady working at the front is very efficient. But the food is not good. This is our second time trying. We didn’t like it when they first opened so thought we’d give it another go. As soon as you walk in your shoes stick to the ground. We walked around the whole restaurant and the entire floor is gross and sticky. They said seat yourself but we couldn’t find a clean table to sit at, so we just found one with the least amount of gross stuff on it. We had the crab boil. The crab was not good and had black spots on it. I can’t even put my finger on why it was off, but it definitely didn’t taste like any crab we’ve ever had. Maybe it was just really old. It was chewy too. The utensils and plates were all dirty (like REALLY dirty, you could scrape crud off with your fingers), and one of the crab crackers was completely rusted which isn’t safe for consumption. The rice was cold and the corn was like disintegrated like it had been sitting in water or something for a long time. The only thing we kinda enjoyed were the hushpuppies. They had a good flavor but were almost black from being overcooked in dirty oil. The hurricane/margaritas are basically just ice but can’t really complain about that since its free. I think after 2 failed tries we’ll give up on going here again. Reading some of the positive reviews on here gives a really bad scammy/AI/fake employee review vibe like they’re being TOO extra and the wording is weird

Fast Service, the staff is super friendly and nice. Felt like I was in the south, while in North Texas. Man, if this place had some live Zydaco/Cajun music on Fridays or Saturdays…. I WISH!
Nice place. Easy menu, cool fish nautical vibe with the decore.
I got the Gumbo, fried Okra, and a piece of the Garlic Bread.
Gumbo, damn good. A solid A- to A in my book! Nice seasoning with just the right amount of kick.
Okra, also very good!
The worst part of my meal was the Garlic bread. I was expecting a nice crispy on the outside soft on the inside French Baguette….absolutely not. I got some nasty flimsy (almost taste freezer burnt) piece of nasty ick. Honestly it was so bad I didn’t want to insult the fantastic Gumbo by pairing it with the nasty bread, so I didn’t even finish eating it.
Bottom line- GO to this place. Get the Gumbo, get the Okra, get some sweet tea…. save your .69 cents on the insult to Garlic Bread…. and be happy.

Went in not knowing it was a chain. Employees were nice and friendly. The food came out relatively quickly. The grilled shrimp was great. Enjoyed the vegetables and beans. I didn’t care for the sauce poured all over everything but that’s just me personally. Large amount of food.

The food was so good the floor is just sticky when you walk around inside but they were mopping so it didn’t bother me that bad. The employees were so nice

We decided to try The Catch for catfish. We usually drive to Waurika, you know the place! The catfish at The Catch is cut way thicker but the flavor is there. Very nice fish! The fries and fried okra were excellent. My husband had gumbo and fried oysters. The gumbo was okay and he said the oysters had way too much breading but he ate them all! The star of the table was honestly the fried pickles. We devoured them! Overall it’s a good place to go if you’re craving catfish but don’t want to make the drive to Oklahoma.

!Whoa.. That was good! I eat here often. I’ve been here 8 times. Never disliked a thing! Only thing I’ve ever disliked was the catfish poboy and that was because I had the shrimp po boy the first time I visited and I didn’t think a most catfish fillet tasted as good as crispy shrimp. To each its own.

The manager Stacy was friendly and helpful with our order. This is the best Cajun food you’ll eat west of Louisiana. Totally unexpected for a restaurant located in Wichita Falls!

I went through the drive thru on my lunch break and ordered a gator bites basket. My total was $15 and some change. I got crumbs. It was very disappointing especially for the high price for a meal with no drink. This is the second time I’ve been and remained hungry. Same order each visit and each time I get crumbs. I’m just NOT going back again. I’ve included pictures so it doesn’t seem that I’m being dramatic about the portion and size of the bites.
