Way over price : 6 oysters for $20.00 when Monty’s sell em for 1.25 each and captain Jim for a dollar each and so many other 5 stara restaurants.
But I guess theirs made out of gold ! Or maybe the ocean front location
I ordered the fish of the day was never asked how do I wanted it cooked! I have ordered clam chowder I get it after I finished with my food ! I had to ask for my soda after I was done eating ! The answer always was oh I forgot !
A couple were next to me they ordered the raw oysters but they gave em charbroil oysters and when he complained he was told cause most people order the charbroil oysters & he was so nice about it shook his head and said I guess I will try it.
When I say horrible experience it is horrible and the can check the cameras to verify ! The time now is 4:26 pm

The oysters and lobster roll were delicious. My friend got the grouper sandwich and really enjoyed it as well. The citadel is awesome, lots of good food!

Absolutely delicious.. everything was fresh. We watched them prep and cook which was a super plus for us. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. The seasoning for the lobster roll was awesome. Our fried snapper was also seasoned and battered perfectly. A must stop for us from now on at the Citadel. Will be back for more. Looking forward to fried Hawg Snapper

Absolutely delicious lobster rolls!!! They were stuffed and super filling. Also the fried shrimp was incredible. Everything was fresh and prepared on the spot. Arguably the best place to get high quality seafood in Miami without breaking the bank. Can’t wait to come back!

Have you ever eating during the dinner but already want to come back again ? It is how good the fried fish and sashimi that I try in this place . I’m traveling over 3 day but I have spend 2 nite here for trying all the tasty food . The chef recommended is the best . The red snapper is well seasoning . The sashimi is so fresh . It is the best I ever try in US . The oyster collection is great too . So yummy. Totally hidden gems!! Don’t just eat at Miami Beach ️ side only . You will be surprised ! They did such amazing job !

We enjoyed the Fish Tacos which we were told are whatever they are currently cutting and we were told these were Mahi-Mahi. These tacos were so fresh and the best we have had for a few years! They had great flavor and we would highly recommend giving “The Shores” a try!
The Citadel is in an interesting location and not what we expected but glad we gave it a try. It is a large food court style with many different kitchen options.

I just wanted to drop a quick review because this place is seriously awesome. First off, the seafood is always incredibly fresh, which is the most important thing.
If you’re there for lunch, definitely go for one of their sandwiches.
The pro move? The shrimp sandwich with the scotch bonnet vinegar. Trust me, you’ll thank me later.

Superior quality, delicious fresh seafood. Legitimate lump meat crab cakes. The crab meat is still fully intact out of the shell, not shredded and mixed with filling. Perfect MD style taste. The shrimp cocktail – large generous shrimp was fully clean, tailed removed, ready to eat. Just perfectly delicious seafood all around.
