I had never tried Rochester Deli although I’ve lived in the Waukesha area for over 10 years. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Rueben with extra meat and potato pancakes. The Reuben was very good and the potato pancakes was crispy on the outside and flavorful. The applesauce is made in house and very good. We also got the French silk pie and it was outstanding.

My husband and I love Rochester Deli. The Friday fish fry with walleye pike is our absolute favorite, but the Wellington is also amazing and always a great choice. Everything tastes fresh and well made.
Don’t skip dessert—seriously. The lemon squares are one of a kind, and the carrot cake is perfectly light and not too heavy. This place is a favorite for a reason, and we’re always happy when we go.

Visiting from out of state and our daughter and her husband drive over here a couple times each month and said we had to go. Definitely worth a drive. Fairly extensive deli sandwich menu, nice selection of sides and drinks, and sweet looking desserts. Around the table we had the Reuben, a roast beef, a corned beef, a Greek wrap, chicken dumpling soup and various side pasta salads. Each sandwich had lots of meat, fresh ingredients and tasty fresh bread. The Italian pasta salad was especially good as was the macaroni salad. Prices were quite reasonable and the food was very good. We’ll be back!

Rochester Deli has the best sandwiches in Waukesha! Their Reuben is to-die-for and their fish fry and potato pancakes on Fridays are a must! Best Club sandwich I’ve ever tried and the desserts from Periwinkle’s bakery are delicious! Run, don’t walk to Rochester Deli!

FABULOUS on every level! It is my Friday treat for either their great tuna salad or 10 star breaded fish (Fridays only). Amber always makes you feel so welcome and her service and hospitality is 10 stars PLUS! You must stop by this incredible spot and enjoy any offering on Rochester’s menu and their magical desserts!

Came here for a quick lunch during the workday. I mentioned I hadn’t been here before and immediately the owner Laura was so warm and welcoming, telling me about everything that’s good and how they operate. It’s obvious how much pride they take in their work, from the way they treat their customers to how incredibly delicious the food is. I had their famous chicken dumpling soup (the husband makes the spaetzels), and their turkey Reuben which completely hit the spot.
Will absolutely be stopping by whenever I’m in Waukesha!

I love the lightly breaded, Italian seasoning on the fish. The potato pancakes are crisp on the outside and pair perfectly with their homemade applesauce. The rye roll is fluffy with a coarse salt on the outside. My only complaint is the coleslaw, it lacks any flavor except cabbage. I would prefer a creamy coleslaw and wished it was an option. This does not stop me from coming though!!
Update: Back for more! No rye roll but marble rye bread, which is just fine with me! The fish is just as tasty and potato pancakes, out of this world! My favorite part of the pancake is the crispy edges. Still my favorite quality fish fry in Waukesha!

Had a fantastic lunch here. Simply good food and very friendly staff! We got the meatloaf sandwich (with horseradish and provolone) and grilled reuben. Both were so so yummy- perfectly grilled and fillings were generous. They had a big spread of desserts, too. Got their bread pudding to go and was pleasantly surprised to find coconut! Can’t wait to come back to try other things, but DEFINITELY coming back for the reuben.
