The most amazing Austrian food you could possibly ask for and what’s more amazing as we found it in Mexico.
Manfred, the owner, was very hospitable, and we sat and enjoyed a fantastic meal, as if we were sitting at his own dining room table.
Meagen kept the food and the drinks coming right on schedule, the main course was Aji tuna that was dressed with a ginger and Curry sauce that was amazing! Then we moved onto the main course that was filet mignon stuffed with bacon and Parmesan that was thoughtfully accompanied with peppercorn cream sauce.
Dessert was a 12 out of 10 with a combination of a mango strudel and an apple strudel with ice cream that could melt the heart of the devil!
And when it was all said and done, we were completely delighted and couldn’t believe the amazing price of the food!
The most surprising part was as the dessert was coming out and entertainer came out, and the music was amazing. It wasn’t too loud and it was just so soothing and very romantic!
You couldn’t ask for a better restaurant when you’re in the Santa Cruz Mexican area.

This restaurant is truly a gem. The food is amazing, I think the best in the Huatulco area. Excellent prices, amazing food, and excellent service. The owner is a wonderful man who meets and greets and socializes with the patrons and makes sure everyone is happy and well attended to. Highly recommend

The food was nice. The staff was excellent. There is no air conditioned space so a bit warm. Sewer smell kept wafting up from the street. At the end of a relaxed meal I was surprised to find out they don’t accept credit cards. Hmmm. High end restaurant with a hefty price and I have to now go to a bank and pay for cash because they won’t pay the credit card fees…. I was surprised and disappointed. We only go to high end places and this is the first one that thinks 870 on a credit card is too much for them to handle. It was only two of us. Imagine if you took your friends or had some wine. Yikes. Also see picture from Google Maps description showing plastic is OK.

Wow … what a treat Viena Huatulco is! The beef stroganoff was amazing, drinks were tasty and the service was exceptional. Cash only though right now so come prepared.

Best restaurant in Huatulco if you want a break from Mexican food. We all loved the Shanghai Salad. The mahi mahi was cooked perfectly. My son loved his streak and my husband enjoyed the schnitzel. The menu is influenced by the owners Austrian heritage and love of fresh local ingredients. The specials menu, the standard menu, the beverage service and the wine menu are all thoughtfully designed. The open air restaurant feels comfortable from the moment you arrive and the service is extremely attentive. We will be back very soon!
