My wife making me do this but I guess it’s improtant to her. This KFC has really turned itself around. They hired a young man in drivethru that actually understands customers. 9 minutes on a potpie? Okay. Wife wanted it. But he made sure we understood the wait. Was very nice. Smiled. That’s a big one. And when he brought our food out asked if we needed refills which I did cause my Pepsi was out. Its kinda like how old fashioned food joints were. Car side service. Felt familiar. Good job wilkesboro. Hes a good one. Hope he can stick around with the foul mouths you employ. Seems different.

I’m not sure if they got rid of those nasty little grls always giving attitude and swearing but that young man in drive thru the other night was an absolute delight! I’d given up hope on this KFC usually going to Elkin way out of the way. But that young man was so sweet and kind and willing to talk. We had a small wait on a potpie but he was so pleasant we didn’t mind. Even refilled our drinks for the wait THAT is service!
I dont know his name but he has a blue kfc hat
I will absolutely come back as long as this young man is there. Absolutely wonderful new hire! Much better than all those cussing lazy teenagers! This KFC has my business back for him alone! Will be back this next weekend for sure! 10/10 from him and only him!

Rudest and incompetent staff of any establishment in Wilkes county for sure. Manager is a joke. Maybe should look where money is being spent if staff is too busy talking to do their job properly or acknowledge a customer coming back in due to their incompetence.

Way overpriced for the poor quality of food. We both had the children breast 2 sides and soda for a total of almost 24 dollars. The only thing worth eating was a side of Cole slaw. Will not be giving them another chance.

Stopped by to pick up dinner this afternoon. Absolutely gorgeous place and such a great staff. I was a bit confused with the menu but the girl behind the counter guided me and got me the best deal for my money. Unlike the KFC in Boone, which is terrible and dirty, this place is well run and clean. The manager should be proud of all her hard work.

Was made to feel like my $50 worth of business was unwanted. Supposed to be open till 11, arrived around 9:45pm, didn’t have any of the chicken we wanted, so got something else, then the door gets locked directly behind us as we leave, and as we are getting back into our car we see another potential customer walk up to the door, of course no business from him as apparently I guess this location closes at 10pm on a Friday night.
