For a place that serves only chicken, I was a little surprised of how long the wait was 20 minutes. I was thinking they had to go out and catch the chicken butcher, pluck it before cooking it. My fiancé used to be assistant manager at KFC in Cheyenne Wyoming, and she never let chicken get that far behind to make the customer wait. They had a window of 2 minutes or less. Otherwise, the food was good. Needed maybe a little more gravy on the mashed potatoes

Why do I pay extra for this? Half of the time the Mac is so hot it’s got a curdled texture and taste. They stopped filling the cups up. So you’re not even getting your extra moneys worth. This is the only Popeyes I go to that does this. It’s too hot and it’s half of the what is normally served.
I will say the lady in the window is very nice and courteous and that warrants more stars. So you get two but come on guys don’t be charging for less. It’s bs.

Update:
I just tried to eat the Mac and cheese; it tasted like chemicals. Not kidding. I am really hoping we do not get sick.

Drive thru- David took the order. He told me it would be 13 minutes for regular chicken. Took 8 minutes for him to even come to the window to acknowledge me and get the money. The restaurant wasn’t even busy ( 4 customers while I was waiting). Total time before getting my food-22 minutes. This is the first time I have ever complained, but this has become the normal routine. For the dinner time (I was there at 7:20pm) I would think that you would have chicken on hand and not have to drop each order individually. This is supposedly “fast food”. I saw the reviews and this is a lot of apologizing for “bad service, bad food”. If that’s true…do something about it.

The staff was polite. The serving sizes are for a child, 14$ for something that wouldn’t even make a child’s belly full. The macaroni and tea both tasted like they had septic water in it. Will not be returning, at this point I will just go support a mom and pop shop rather then a corporation.

The service was ok but a lot of my items were missing. I made a custom chicken box order (16 PC chicken with custom pieces) I wanted no wings and they gave me mostly wings instead of what I ordered and no biscuits. The manager told me they have a nasty habit of putting the biscuits in the bottom of the chicken box but there was none so they skimped us on biscuits and chicken.

This is the 3rd time our order has been messed up… and you can not get ahold of anyone. Food is over cooked, more like it was reheated.. yucky! Didn’t even get everything we ordered! They are rude!! We figured we would give them 1 more shot… but heck NO, not after this time!!! My guess this will be the next place to close down!! Sad cause we love this restaurant… but DON’T GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! Went for a lazy dinner night. We got the 24 piece nuggets with Cajun fries, red beans, and rice. They were so good. The breading of the nuggets dissolve in your mouth, but still gives you that soft crunch. I wish we hadn’t ordered so many, because I could not stop eating them. Seriously. I ate too much. They were so good I felt compelled to leave a review. Here’s the after picture. Don’t forget to order your jalapeños!
