Soul food dinner was outstanding. I give it a 10. BBQ ribs and shoulder were tender and smoked to perfection.
The cornbread dressing was well seasoned and the baked beans were just right. The workers were very cordial and friendly. The place has a good vibe plus on Sundays there’s live music and karaoke. Nothing like going to a restaurant and enjoying delicious food. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I definitely will be back and keep you posted on other food selections I try. They take cash and credit card. It’s a 10 for me. Come try it.

Food is delicious. We got the cat fish bites for an app. Delicious. We had the Sunday menu… Absolute fye. I love Ashley’s. Been a fan from way back. Darnell is a great guy and I’ll go to any place he running because I know the food is going to slap.

I’m so tired of calling myself wanting to support my neighborhood restaurants, just to get subpar food. 5 months ago I ordered rib tips from Ashley Two. 1/4 of the tips were great- tender and flavorful. The other 3/4 of the tips were either tough and/or burnt. I decided to get my bbq elsewhere. Today, I decided to try the rib tip again. I even expressed my feedback to the cashier on duty about my last encounter. She apologized for my experience. I asked her how were the tips today? She said they are great. I get home, from first glance, they looked great. So I started eating. I literally got through 7 rib tips before the tips got tough and burnt again. I finally figured out what they do. Instead of not selling the unedible rib tips, they mask it by packing the burnt tips underneath the good tips. Soooooo frustrating! Before I ordered today, I started to go over to Pops BBQ to get my tips. The only reason I didn’t is because they would’ve been closed before I got there. Lastly, I took photos of what these tips look like after trying to eat, but had to spit it out- which again, was 3/4 of the tips. I think I may be finally done with rib tips from Ashley Two. The one great thing about this establishment is their wonderful customer service and friendliness!

When we arrived, we had to wait to be seated. The guy who was doing karaoke seated us. Then, it took another 15mins to even get a glass of water or for the waiters to come over and say, hello, she’ll be back. Once the drink and food order was placed. The food did come out in a timely manner but I still had not received my cocktail until the end of my meal. In which i ordered a lemon drop martini, but it tasted like lemonade.

Me and mother r very hard to please these days ,but we decided to try Ashleys and have never been this pleased in Milwaukee in a long time everything was Awesome and they were patient and attentive to take your order as you requested, food was fresh,cooked well, and hott. Ordered a Catfish dinner through Grubhub. Catfish was perfectly fried. Greens were tender and seasoned. Mac and cheese was good and creamy. Portions are nice size and came with Cornbread muffin. Will be returning!

It’s an amazing experience! The other customers and the workers there are so loving and caring. We have a family of 12 and they have so many affordable food options to feed our family. This is one of those restaurants when you are wondering what to eat tonight that’s fast that stay at the top of your mind!
The food is beyond amazing and filling . And there are specials almost everyday! It’s for sure one of my favorite restaurants. I tried to go yesterday but forgot they closed on Mondays

The pizza was fantastic. Toppings on point and I am picky with my pizza. Lol. Fresh ingredients. Sausage cooked to perfection. Flavorful sauce. My kids enjoyed the chicken. Food was hot and ready fast. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to go back!

The worst catfish I’ve ever had undoubtedly. May be the worst meal I ever had. I think they refried the fish. I was given the wrong two sides, so I brought the food back. You’d think they’d apologize, nope. The new/correct food was made in lightening speed, which is odd considering I waited 25 minutes originally. They said it was brand new fish. I doubt it. It also smelled like the grease was burnt and the fries were very greasy. Then when I was trying to leave someone pulled into the parking lot in a box truck and blocked me in without care whatsoever that I was trying to back out. I had to drive over the sidewalk to leave. It definitely gave soul plane vibes.
