My wife stopped in about a month ago and bought a sampler box of truffles. We tried them all, and really thought all of them lacked any distinct flavors and weren’t very chocolatey.

I Googled chocolate shops and this one came up. I went in and after seeing the beautifully decorated truffles, I realized that I was in the same shop.

I asked the gal if they had any dark chocolate fudge. Her reply was “just what we have out…” There’s at least a dozen types of fudge, many not identified.

When I told her that my wife likes dark chocolate, she asked why wasn’t I at the truffles? When I told her that we didn’t like them, she seemed shocked.

I bought 4 slices of Belgian chocolate fudge, it was $28. I realize that they’re in Market Common, but still thought that was a little expensive.

Fudge was very good. I didn’t have time to find another shop, otherwise I think I would have left.

I don’t think I will be back. Sorry…

Beautiful shop with a lovely selection of chocolates and fudge. The chocolate mint fudge is the best I’ve tasted, so creamy and meltaway delicious with just the right amount of flavor. The chocolate covered English toffee was my second favorite. I loved mixing and matching some chocolates for my group and we all thoroughly enjoyed them. The truffles are so beautiful! A box of four looked so special and tasted amazing. We loved that there were seasonal flavors for fudge and truffles. The service was so kind and helpful. We walked away happy and will need to come again.

If you’re in Myrtle Beach and looking for a chocolate experience beyond the ordinary, Uncommon Chocolatier is a must-visit. This shop isn’t your run-of-the-mill candy store; they specialize in handcrafted, small-batch chocolates made with top-notch ingredients.

Here’s what impressed me:
Unique Flavors: Uncommon Chocolatier goes beyond the usual milk, dark, and white chocolate. They offer a tempting selection of truffles and treats with unexpected flavor combinations. Imagine indulging in a lavender honey truffle or a spicy chili chocolate bar.
Quality Ingredients: They prioritize fresh, high-quality ingredients, which are evident in the richness and taste of their chocolates. You can truly savor the difference.
Artisan Touch: Everything is handcrafted in small batches, ensuring each piece gets special attention. This dedication to detail shows in the beautiful presentation and consistent quality.

A Few Things to Consider:
Price Point: Due to the premium ingredients and handcrafted nature, Uncommon Chocolatier’s chocolates are priced a bit higher than mass-produced brands. However, for a special treat or gift, it’s definitely worth the splurge.
Selection: While they offer a delightful variety, the selection might seem smaller compared to larger candy stores. But keep in mind, this allows them to focus on quality over quantity.

Overall, Uncommon Chocolatier is a gem for chocolate lovers seeking unique and delicious treats. It’s the perfect place to indulge your sweet tooth or find a decadent gift for someone special.

We went to the movies next door and saw this in the market commons and the girls had to check it out! You can sample as well. We got sugar-free coconut, chocolate coved almonds and some other things. Service was great and the chocolates we got were delicious.

Just spent $24 on four different fudges. They were all disgusting. You should find a new distributor because Pennsylvania does not make good fudge.
I will not be going back there.

Located in the Market Commons. The fudge (Belgian chocolate at least) is TO DIE FOR. It’s so chocolatey, buttery, creamy and fudgy as you’d expect. We actually went 2x on our trip to get more. The girl that was working in there was so sweet. The shop is so clean and they have a huge variety of fudge and other sweets. Highly recommend. The price is also pretty good for the quality, and also compared to others in the area.

The absolute finest dark choc toffee I’ve ever tasted! Not too sweet bor too much choc-to-toffee ratio, ultra smooth and lush… wish I’d gotten more!
Can’t speak to the rest of their offerings as I only got the toffee for myself.
Purchased fudge for a friend (decent pricing compared to other spots I’ve been to in M.B.) – she said it was great.
Will return when back in town.

My wife bought me some dark chocolates (fancy and colorful) from Uncommon Chocolatier for Christmas. The flavors in each piece were boring and indescribable. Sad… what a let down.

Great chocolates and good pricing. For $30 I got a 12 pack of truffles, a 1/4 lb slice of fudge and 2 packs of all natural dog biscuits. The truffles I’ve tasted so far are fantastic. My only suggestion would be maybe a little guide card with the truffles because I can’t remember all the flavors I got.
