We stopped in for lunch while my car was getting an oil change at Mohawk Honda. The service was great! Jamie was so friendly and attentive. There specials today were so flavorful! We had the Gouda bacon Mac n cheese and hot honey buttermilk chicken sandwhich so delicious! Ron did a great job! All in all a great experience. A nice surprise to our day. Thank you.

Great food and portions. At night time sometimes it can turn into more of a bar vibe but other than that they have a big menu and great service. They have fun events like trivia and bands come play. Outdoor seating is also available! We go here a lot, they really do have some of the best food around besides maxons up the road. Favorite is their crispy chicken wrap and fries and reuben.

Great atmosphere, pizza is excellent, servers were spot on and perfect location to get food and beverage before a game at the hockey rink!

“That was a lot of turkey meat.”

Ordered ahead of time over the phone for a pickup a few hours later, going with the Bavarian Pretzel Sticks, a Turkey Ruben Panini, and the Pumpkin Lava Cake.

I will say pickup was easy, but getting into the parking lot was interesting. You either need to illegally cross a couple double yellow lines to make a left into the entrance, or you have to go all the way around behind the airport so you can make the right into the entrance. And if you’re me, and coming from Malta, the choice is more yellow than you may think.

When I got home and opened it all up I had some mixed feeling. The turkey ruben was clearly packed with meat, but the rye bread looked burnt. The “lava” cake was volcano shaped I guess, but lacked any kinda of “lava” center as the frosting was just sitting there. And the pretzel sticks looked great, but felt as hard as a bagel.

Digging into it, I was right about the pretzels, they were as tough as a toasted bagel, but tasted great none the less. Though they really needed more dipping cheese. The turkey ruben was juicy and so darn packed with meat, and while I was wrong about the rye being burnt (it just looked like it), there was just too much turkey for the ruben to be enjoyed. I’d recommend at least 1/4 less meat. As for the pumpkin “lava” cake, well, it was certainly pumpkin flavored, nice and spicy, but that frosting bit really did only go about as deep as a scoop. It paired fine with the cake, a cream cheese flavor, but like the cheese dip for the pretzels it wasn’t enough for the entire cake.

Coming to a total of $35, I found the price to be acceptable, just need a few minor tweaks to make the dishes work 100%.

Haven’t been here in a minute so we decided to try it again. Same old story. Ordered a burger medium rare and it came out well done. Hot wings were not hot at all. Manager took the burger off of the bill. Tough finding a cook who can actually cook. No wonder why the owner is always at Uncle Ben’s.

Amazing food, quick and friendly service. Try the crab ragoon pizza, so yummy! Nicely decorated for the holidays and not crazy on NYE night. Highly recommend!

So! This is one hidden gem in Glenville!

The server was nice and attentive.
The place was clean and well maintained.
And, the food was really good!

The ONLY thing I’d suggest is less bread and more spice in that french onion soup. Beautiful though and not sweet, thank goodness.

This restaurant is a step up from what I would call “pub” food!
The bar staff was friendly and took very good care of us. They refilled classes and kept checking in with us, even though it was super busy. I had a burger, cooked as I asked. It was hearty and I asked for the BBQ on the side, and they did it! The loaded tater tots were actually too good. Loaded with cheese and cooked perfectly crispy. The other food we saw that came out- looked just as good.

I should have tried the specials that they had posted on an a frame sign at the door, but I had my heart set on a burger that night, my loss, as they looked delicious.

Good parking along the side of the building and easy access in the front and what appeared to be a seasonal patio out back.

It was so busy when we got there on a Friday night at 6:30, we just started to wait for a table, they kept coming back to us suggesting the bar as not to have to wait, so we finally gave in, and really enjoyed that experience. Sat with some nice folks, they seemed like regulars and so we had some laughs and it made the atmosphere friendly. It’s a great neighborhood type tavern, with good food, a nice selection of music, and friendly people. Will definitely go back! Damn those yummy tater tots!

Update: the spinach dip was back as a special!!!!
They’ve made some great improvements that make it easier for the waitstaff to do water and soft drinks which just improves efficiency and overall experience. Staff are very free and attentive. Wings are always amazing. New drink specials were an awesome addition. That cherry lime mule was the bomb!! We wish they brought back the spinach dip or some similar hot vegetarian dip option however. That was a staple for our group over the years.
Also they should SERIOUSLY consider staying open until midnight on Thursday at least in the summer.
