You know this place is going to be good when I walk from the Courtyard Marriot and you can smell the food! We ordered breakfast tacos and they were delicious! The prices were very reasonable and stayed low if you paid in cash, which we did! I was very impressed with the selection and I love the cozy atmosphere and how helpful the servers were in helping us order. They even put it in separate bags for another order. Definitely liked this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Food was so good! My dad is a very pick eater because he loves authentic mexican dishes, so he loved this one. Our drinks and food took a while, but they did have only one waitress and they got pack soon after. Will for sure save this for a next time we are in SA!

Mi Casa Restaurant offers a clean, comfortable setting and the staff was polite and welcoming, which I appreciated. The food itself was decent, but nothing really stood out as memorable or exceptional. It was okay, just not the best I’ve had, especially considering the price point. Compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area, the portions and overall value felt a little lacking for what you’re paying.
One small thing that stood out was the chips served at the table—they were very limited, and it wasn’t clear if refills were included. I was also a bit surprised that there’s no soda fountain, only canned sodas. I recommend the tea, you get refills.
None of these issues are major on their own, but together they did affect the experience.
While I don’t see myself coming back, I’m not discouraging others from trying it. Everyone’s tastes are different, and some may enjoy it more than I did. For me, it just didn’t quite live up to expectations, and I left feeling somewhat disappointed rather than satisfied.

The name truly speaks for itself!
Mi Casa Restaurant really does feel like home.
The food tastes just like our Sunday mornings at Ama’s house, full of comfort and tradition. The ladies here are incredibly friendly and their hospitality makes you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. Please be kind and acknowledge their hard work, because not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the service is always spot on.
We love coming here whenever we’re in the area. Mi Casa, don’t change a thing. Your homemade tortillas and breakfast are truly to die for! ❤️

Mi Casa was walking distance from our hotel. Mi Casa is a seat yourself place. We arrived around noon and it was very busy.
Service is slow but the food was worth the wait. I had the country ranchero bkfst taco and my wife had the migas taco. Both overfilled on handmade tortillas were super tasty. You need to ask for chips & salsa, again worth it for the in house made chips. Salsa was flavorful and just enough heat. Decent prices. 2 tacos, a coke & a coffee was $10+/- If you’re in this area of San Antonio I recommend you try Mi Casa.

Bad service understaffed and bad quality food half of it was cold half of it was brought out it wasn’t even complete. I end up eating last from my family because my order half of it came out and it got cold and I had to send it back and then they brought me the wrong order I had to send it back again. I had to wait to get refills and the tortillas late after 5 minutes after the food out as the food got cold. And at the end I ended up waiting another 15 minutes just to speak to management about the issue. And all that they can do is just not charge me the drinks. It just a bad experience all the way around. I visit San Antonio every year around this time and this just made everything suck at the end of my trip. Unfriendly staff and management. And then to top it off they want to sit there and argue with us instead of trying to defeat it and just make things right and come to a compromise. You want good quality food with good service and never fails I go there every yeah. I decided to give this place a try huge mistake I should have just stick to what I know good quality food service all around go to Lupita’s Cafe 456 E White Ave, San Antonio, TX 78214 it’s amazing…

We got the puffy tacos, the ham and eggs, and lemonada. We really enjoyed our meals and the staff was very nice. The flour tortillas are perfection.

We wanted Mexican breakfast. And that’s what we got. The beans were good. The potatoes seemed a little too greasy for my liking. My omelette was great. The place was clean. Great attentive server. The coffee was good. Portion sizes were perfect. I wasn’t too fond of the taste of my homemade corn tortillas. I liked the flour one better.

I tried calling three times to get assistance, but each call went straight to voicemail. I placed an online order and specifically requested six of the seven items on corn tortillas; however, every item arrived on flour tortillas instead. The tortillas were thick, undercooked, and quickly became soggy from the food, which made the meal tasteless overall. The quality of the food was very disappointing.
