About the drink, the YumYum coconut, pineapple ginseng drive was very refreshing and cool you down, the flavour was great. However, it lost most flavour after the ice started melting.
For food, the green curry fried rice with grilled chicken was delicious. I ordered it with reduced spiciness, however, the rice was still too spicy for me. The dipping sauce for the chicken was very good but it was also a little too spicy. I could have had the sauce with the fried rice if they both had been less spicy.
The fried dough stick with Pandan dipping sauce was the best dish I had out of my meal. The fried dough was not oily, combined it with the sweet Pandan dipping sauce, it was perfection. My only complaint would be the dish should be an after main course dish, not a starter, as the sweet Pandan sauce was heavy.
For dessert, I had the Jackfruit sticky rice with coconut milk. The combined fruit and sticky rice was nice. However, it became too heavy when dipped in the coconut milk as the additional coconut milk overwhelmed the flavours of both the sticky rice and Jackfruit.
Overall, I was satisfied with my lunch at the restaurant.
The service was ok, staff are polite.
We had chicken pad thai, which was pretty good, and red chicken curry – which was too sweet. The teas were nice too.
I would come back for the pad thai!
And about the price, they have odd numbers such as 224, 267, 318 etc on the menu which hints that VAT have already been priced in. Yet it is not. The menu has a footnote that VAT is not inclusive. There’s also an additional 15% service charge for Tet (it’s high, but we don’t complain about this).
Service—oh my. I suppose the entire floor crew are part-time university students. I felt my server was inexperienced and not actively listening to our orders too.
We didn’t feel welcomed. We arrived at 1pm and was prompted to order quick as their last order is at 1.15pm (45mins before their afternoon closing). The server literally stood by our table for 5mins as we looked through the menu in a rush.
We were also prompted to settle the bill at 1.50pm (10mins before closing)—really do they have to be so strict to this extent?
Our bill was 907,500. My dad gave 1,007,000 by mistake, and got a return of 99k. Speechless.
I hope this restaurant shows more love to customers, in both the product and service.
Waitress could speak simple English and take orders. Food was average; pineapple fried rice was a little plain but good for kids, stirfry noodles was oily and salty, fish cake was too salty. The milk tea tasted alright until the ice melted and was very diluted. The pearls in the drinks was also a little hard, would have preferred something more soft and chewy.
The portion was a little small for the price so it was a little disappointing.
It was a spontaneous but best decision ever
+ Food was fire ♨️ all dishes served fresh, hot, made on spot and sooo delicious spiciness is up to customers’ taste
+ Decoration: kinda cute
+ Space: only one floor but luckily there’s enough room for family dinner or groups
+ Service: excellent
=> Staff welcome customers at door, take orders seriously and friendly, also informative and very cheerful, which brings about a happy positive atmosphere
– At busy times, service goes kinda slow so one dish can take 15-20min
=> However, the taste and freshness also hot servings really worth the wait
All in all, one of the top Thai restaurants in town for me, would recommend to literally anyone
