Athena was our waitress and she was very helpful and attentive. She walked us through the menu and answered all our questions. They also give you a sample of food if it’s your first time which was unique. Everything we had was so flavorful and delicious. The chicken was perfectly juicy and seasoned really well. The mac and cheese was so creamy and paired perfectly with the spicy chicken. The fries were also very crispy. 10/10 recommend!

The chicken was good, nice and crispy, very juicy. The collard greens were surprisingly delicious. I liked the ‘dirty’ mac and cheese. Wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did.
Desserts – the key lime pie was this creamy custard concoction. It was really nice. The buttermilk pie was not as good to me, but would definitely have the key lime pie again.

Visualize a concept of Gastropub and elevated Fried chicken in one well conceived space. Spice levels/skin crispness/ moist and perfectly seasoned: cooked to order Fried Chicken. Autumn perfectly waited our table at Trainer level experience; Kind, Thoughtful, Joyful, and Very Attentive. If you’re a Fan of Hadee Bs/ make room for a superior version. Didn’t even realize they’re expanding in Houston. I’ve eaten at the location in Sawyer Heights and one in Austin.
So far everything I’ve eaten here is good. No complaints.
One recommendation for this location and if you expand to more, consider advocating with your landlord to add electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the parking lot. It helps bring you more customers and increases restaurant revenue.
You already seem to have several EV driving customers visit you.
I recommend contacting local Houston company, Pangea Charging, if you look into adding this or want to learn more.

Tried Tumble 22 and it did not disappoint. From the 3 piece kid bite kids meals, to the 2 piece dark meat with 2 sides and the Cobb salad everything was literal perfection. Customer service was excellent from the moment we walked in everyone was friendly, welcoming and checked on us throughout our meal. Recommend the big Larry if your getting a mixed drink, not too strong great flavor. Great price for a family of 4, and extra sides.
I added pictures of our order, went back and got dinner to go and it was just as good as when we ate in person. Chicken crust was nice and crispy and sides were in nice containers, you can tell they handled our order with care. Love Tumble 22 if you havent tried it yet your missing out!

Love everything about this place. Best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. The Tupelo hot honey. Spice levels are way overstated but that’s ok. The place has a great vibe. Nice interior setup. Nice bar area. Great service. My friend had the wings and loved them.

Autumn was amazing. Her service was an absolute delight. So friendly and hospitable. The food was so delicious, I can’t wait to come back. We had the Cobb salad with, chicken bites and the southern sandwich. The greens were tasty and the Mac and cheese were creamy.

we have been here twice and love the fried chicken. this last time i got habanero and omgoodness it was so hot i had to ask for honey to eat it. but i wanted spicy and i got it. my husband got a salad and it’s also fantastic they put deviled eggs on it with chicken ….so good! wish we had one closer. we always eat outside cause we always have the dogs traveling through town, so unfair to say atmosphere is a 1 star or a 5. definitely a great place for fried chicken

Ok… there are chicken places and there is Tumble22. I discovered this gem during my travels to Austin. Truly the best chicken sandwich place I have ever had. I think people in Houston have settle for mediocre in food because we have so much….. GET STRAIGHT and GET TUMBLE22!! You will not regret the OG, The Korean, The Heavenly EGGs, The Dirty Fries…… OMG!!!! I promise you, this place is packed and hard to get a seat in Austin. Experience it before it gets packed!!! AMAZING!!!! OH…. Don’t forget the Blood Orange Margarita!! Yum! Customer service is also the gem here with Athena and Shane.
