I had an incredible dining experience at this Dominican Restaurant! The shrimp and carne frita appetizer were absolutely delicious—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The Boca Chica fish and trifongo con carne frita were some of the best dishes I’ve ever had; every bite was a true delight. The food is authentic and expertly prepared.
The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic Dominican cuisine with top-notch service. I can’t wait to return!

Stopped by here after doing some research on good Dominican food in the area. Figured I would give this place a try. Couldn’t be more happy with the food and service. It was early in the day and I just arrived from a flight and didn’t want to cook when I got home. Very generous portions and food did not disappoint. I will definitely go back to try some other dishes there. Also looks like they are set up for karaoke on some nights which looks like a fun time. I would definitely give them a try if you are craving authentic Dominican cuisine. Also, if you are a first timer, the restaurant is located on the second level. Could get a little confusing if you are following the map.

It’s been years since I’ve found amazing mofongos and proper Dominican food. The empanadas were cheesy and well fried. The fried fish was humongous and well seasoned! This plantain appetizer was my favorite. The place was quiet, clean, and pleasant. Great for families.

Good food. Good service. Good atmosphere. Mariana, our waitress, was awesome as she helped us make our choices.
We got the fruitura with a side of rice and beans, the chicharrón de cerdo with a side of sweet plantains and some empanadas, all excellent choices except for the beans which didn’t pair well and was a bit flat.
Great place for dinner

Amazing staff… From the owner to the waitresses, excellent service! I’ve been both lunch and dinner and each time the food was “chef kiss”. And did I mention they have Mama Juana at the bar?

The food was amazing! I had grilled chicken with rice, beans, and plantains with an amazing sauce. The service was really good, and the server was kind. The atmosphere was great—they had some great Reggaeton songs—and the windows were slightly tinted, which made the ambiance 10x better.

Came on a spontaneous date with my husband. I am not very adventurous when it comes to my food but I enjoyed my food. The flavor of the meat was delicious and the aroma was amazing. It was a very chill evening seeing that it is a Wednesday night.

Dominican restaurant with modern decor offers a good selection of plates. I went with a group of friends to celebrate. I ordered the Carnitas Mofongo, but I was expecting much more – at best, I can say it was average. The sancocho and the fried fish seemed to be more solid choices. This restaurant becomes a disco during the weekends and so you can come to practice bachata and merengue.

I moved from NYC to the DFW area in 2002, and ever since, I’ve been on the hunt for real Dominican food which has been harder to find than parking in Manhattan. I finally tried Dominican Restaurant in Richardson (yes, that’s the name), and I’m kicking myself for not coming sooner. The food was absolutely delicious, and straight up took me back to the island and reminded me of my culture, my family, and everything I’ve missed about home. The place was clean and welcoming, the service was great (our waitress was super attentive), and the drinks? Strong enough to make you dance bachata in the parking lot. I’ll definitely be back, and if you’ve been putting it off like I did, go now. You’ll thank yourself.
