Again a case of not judging a book by its cover. Walking in notice an updated inside with pies and a salad bar. Great place for breakfast or a lunch. Salad bar is smaller but clean with fresh ingredients. Ordered the cheeseburger and was large and juicy. Friendly staff with good prices. Seemed to attract a lot of locals.

This place was great, stopped after getting gas and noticed a full parking lot (thinking it’s a good sign). The service was super, very observant and friendly. The food was both good and portions large. I absolutely will return if in the area. I had the pork special with a baked potato and lots of gravy. I also opted for the chicken dumpling soup which was excellent. Oh, the slice of cake I had was huge as well

First time me and my husband has went in there and he ordered the cheeseburger and french fries said the cheeseburger was really juicy and good I ordered the (5) chicken strips and french fries that come with a salad dinner roll and green beans the french fries were fresh and good I get halfway through to eat my French fries and there’s a hair on my fries so I stopped eating told the waitress about it she talked to the manager and asked if I wanted her to remake it and I said sure just the chicken Strips but to make it go then waitress had to tell me that they don’t know where the hair came from because the manager has gray hair and nobody there work sure has hair that short so I get my container to go take a look which is supposed to be five and only had three and out of the three one of them was ripped open so first time experience not very pleased plus walking in it had a musky smell to it but we had the waitress she was very nice she did Apologize and friendly plus no discount taken off or anything

We stopped on our way through because of the glowing reviews. They did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service sweet. The building and chairs are pretty run down, the only negative. We got fish sandwiches and they were cooked perfectly melty and flaky, the breading delicious! Huge portions!! The fries are devine. The salad bar was an excellent add on!

Leaving 5 stars because while the food was horrible and unseasoned, my husband and I speak very fondly of this place as it was one of our first dates together. Just don’t order the chicken alfredo if it’s ever on the menu again haha!

I have heard this place was great , so I was craving a hamburger horse shoe and thought I would give this place a try and it was a huge disappointment. Their fresh never frozen patties were horrible , I was asked if I minded making my own salad from the salad bar than was informed after not everything on the salad bar came with the salad when walking in a noticed some things wrong that should of threw redflags but I never judge a restaurant by appearance but I’m not even sure how this place still has their doors open. Open electrical boxs on the wall at a level a toddler could easily get to. The ceiling had open electrical boxes, and ceiling tiles were falling. I could go on and on about violations. Where is the health department? This place needs fined and closed till atleast the electrical is fixed!

Lots of food that tastes good too. The house Special Omelette was huge and packed with vegetables and cheese. The hash browns were well done (the way I like them). And the pancake was the size of the whole plate.

Service was pleasant. Prices reasonable. Musty odor throughout restaurant. They were out of straws, ice cream, and then the cook took the liberty to change my order when they were out of Swiss cheese and substituted a different cheese without asking. food was average/truck stop food.
